Ultracell 11000ma D battery. Ordered on Ebay these are way under claimed capacity. Of 4 D cells 1.2v checked at 3900ma average, discharged at 2.0A to .9volts.
Tenergy Premium (not LSD) 10000ma D battery. Ordered on Ebay these are above claimed capacity. Of 8 D cells 1.2v checked at 10400ma average, discharged at 2.0A to .9volts.

New batteries which just arrived from DX. I did two cycles discharging at 1.0A (reporting the higher number above, but they were pretty close), then a third at 0.5A.
Ok just arrived this week ...
Did some tests , battery is rated [ on label ] 2400mAh , discharged at 1A returned some 2188mAh to 3v
Using my best battery vampire [ Manafont XM-L drop in equipped L2 ] it was able to do some 3.17A which is quite impressive ...

Im sure if I had discharged to 2.5v I would have come close to the claimed capacity if not hit the nail on the head .

Sanyo 2600 from CNQ / link
Now supposedly ok to Discharge to 2.75v , I stopped at 3v .. So discharging @ 1A i got some 2471mAh from this cell . [ Ebay Sanyo did 2433mAh @ 0.5A ] So these look the be fresher batteries possibly ?
Trying out the Sanyo in my battery vampire , Manafont XM-L drop in , I recorded some 3.6A discharge , which is quite excellent . [ Ebay Sanyo did 3.5A ]
At the time of posting this , CNQ has the Sanyo @ $5.90 per cell , and If I needed more 18650's , yeah , id be buying more Sanyo's

18650 trustfire flames batteries from here i have done a few disharge and charge cycles on them and they all give between 2300 and 2500 mAh but today i did another discharge and charge cycle with my Icharger 106B+
i dishcarged to 3 volt under load once the charger stoped i let it rest a few mins the cell voltage was 3.24 volt then i recharged to 4.2 volt at 500 mAh (0.5 amp) and this one took 2471 mAh, they also can be dishcarged to 2.75 volt so it can take a little more mAh if you want it to.
this was an old cell with the internal resistance of 163 milliohms but you have to take into account i was using rare earth magnets, my soldering and the main charge cable leads and connectors so i expect the internal resistance to be a little lower around.

The batteries above are about 8 months old, but have seen little use. The 14500 has a different label than the cell reported on in the first line of the database.

However NCR18650 is one battery and NCR18650A is another battery.

hi, i use a cheap charger (ultrafire wf-188) and cant measure voltages, sorry. but i've got a high quality digital sliding caliper so here are my length measurements:
XTAR 18700 2600mAh (average size: L x D: 69.7 x 18.5 mm)
cell1 L x D: 69.59 x 18.48 mm
cell2 L x D: 69.67 x 18.43 mm
and finally the capacities:
Discharge test runs in genuine Imax B6 at -0.2A discharge rate from 4.200+V (UT61E) down to the B6-standard "3.00V" termination limit:
test run #1 (tested: cell#1): 2501mAh, remaining resting voltage 3.281V recovered after 2 hours
test run #2 (tested: cell#2): 2515mAh, remaining resting voltage 3.390V recovered after 2 hours
Notes:
- more test runs will be performed at higher discharge rates, e.g. -1.0A to collect more data which can be compared to the literature.
- the test runs will be repeated in future to see how much the cells have aged
