Very cool I have a W30 and I didn’t know that. I wonder if it would be possible to have an LEP with a dial to adjust the color temp of the beam between 4,000 (or even 2,000) and 6500K? How sweet would that be…
I was thinking about that, but won't go that route, sorry. It becomes a bit messy to show every little detail and variation. And most other offerings don't show all the details. It's a general overview of available LEP flashilghts. What is important to you, may not important for the next and vice versa. Some people want to know how many amps it draws, if button tops fit, if protected fit, if it includes a battery, where to buy it, what the best price is and so on. One example: the Acebeam W10 gen2 has actually 2 versions (and both gen2) the older with mechanical switch, no strobe, and the newest version with e-switch and with strobe, but both are called Acebeam W10 gen2. I don't think the overview is about every detail. That's where the reviews are for. For now, I won't add those details....
Just ordered a Nealsgadgets LEP - he gave me a good deal. Still had a large balance on our stimulus debit card, and finally realized I could link it to PP, so, Neal only accepts PP . This could be real dangerous.
lol.. I hope you like it! Maybe you should remove that connection between PayPal and your debit card ;) The Astrolux WP1 and WP2 are also coming out soon.... and probably some more LEPs
Good question, and I don't really know. Most of them are glued so I can't really open them up. (I know I can with enough heat, but...) the ones that I could open are the Nealsgadgets one, and the Jetbeam M2S .. probably 1 more, but can't remember which one. But the insides look identical... except for maybe the green and purple hue on the lenses

These are the Jetbeam M2S and nonbranded 26650 next to eachother
I just received my Lumintop GT Nano from Neal that I ordered months ago. He didn’t reply to any emails. Light is good but be prepared for a long wait my friend
Can’t wait for the W50 to be released. Looks really cool. Acebeam has a video of it up on their Facebook page of it shining onto a wall. Has some pretty cool features to it and it’s much bigger than any other LEP lights currently available.
I think that was Fenix that would only sell their LEP light to law enforcement. Acebeam does not say who the light will be sold to in their post. Seems they don’t even have any specs on the light yet. The only thing they state is that they estimate it to have more than 3km of throw. The fact that it has a cooling fan built into the handle( handle looks like the X70s handle) tells me it’s a lot more powerful than the W30 though.
ChibiM - what would be really, really great to add to that matrix in the OP is measured throw. You got all the reviews with measured #'s, just need to put it all together in that matrix. I trust your #'s more than the manufacturers with some lower, some higher.
I’m wondering if anybody has theories as to why Acebeam made three different colors on the W30. I suspect the 4000K works better in fog, rain, snow ect but I’ve not seen comparisons. The fact that they sold them as a dive light also may have a bearing to include the CRI model. I have the 4000K and at a distance things don’t really look yellow but at less than 300m the yellow is obvious which is not necessarily a problem but it is there. Most other brands appear in videos to be cool white except possibly the Weltool W4 which which looks neutral in some videos.
That’s an interesting question…. I have the W30 and W10g2, both in cool white. When I bought a firefoxes FF5, others encouraged me to go 4300K and it does indeed slice through rain and fog. It also (not surprising) is easy on the eyes (beautiful soft yellow color) and lets you see the colors of things
