Been there - done that
What is the smallest and lightest headlamp available with 1800-2200K LEDs? 2700K 519A with easy access to dedoming is also ok, red would also be good. Pure flooder.
I know of the Emisar D2 or a DW4 with 18350 tube. Not sure how to mount the D2 on the head though and it seems surprisingly throwy. The DW4 shorty also seems like a problem to mount in a headband, but I do have one with the silicone loops so that should work if push comes to shove.
Usecase is nighttime reading without annoying the Wife :), thatâs why the size/weight and CCT constraints. Donât want to lie down with a heavy tube on my forehead and anything higher CCT is too intrusive.
Gonna use it at really low brightness so donât need high cell capacity though a decent driver is a plus, donât wanna burn the excess voltage unnecessarily, especially with lower Vf at low currents
Convoy C8s have a shelf, not a pill. The LED MCPCB is screwed onto the shelf.
Type 1 C8s did indeed have pills, Type 2 C8s had the shelf.
I know because I got some crappy clones that had dinky Al pills, and Fasttech sold nice big fat brass pills to replace them.
Yes, you are correct Lightbringer - thanks!
I see KD has several replacement C8 brass pills.
Why are do many youtube vids show as a mirror image?
See it often in the shorts.
All the Best, Jeff
For example
I noticed that, too, and figured it was one of two things.
First, no idea how âsmartâ phones handle front vs back cameras (flipped or unflipped), but Iâm thinking the default is âmirror modeâ so you can see yourself as others would. Lots of selfies are the person staring at the phone while looking into a mirror.
Second is to reverse the image to try to fool âhey, this is my video!â detection. Like some movies will show the actual movie in a smaller window, but have a âbusyâ background around it as crude camouflage.
A bigger puzzle is why people insist on filming in portrait rather than landscape. Itâs as though theyâve never seen a TV or a monitor.
'Cause it looks kewl to them, like holding your Glock sidewaysâŚ
With de-deoming a 519, is the degree of resultant rosiness related to the starting CCT? For example would a dedomed 4500K be more or less noticably pink than a dedomed 5700K?
I did an internet searchâŚ
do i have to pay tariffs on ebay canada to us
https://www.google.com/search?q=do+i+have+to+pay+tariffs+on+ebay+canada+to+us
(I just bought something from Canada on ebay.com
and I live in the U.S.)
As far as I can tell, I donât have to pay a tariff.
I am pretty sure they have, for now, left the exemption for items under $800 in place. For now.
Thanks!
I hope youâre right, or if not, I hope eBay gives me the option of cancelling the order if I would need to pay a tariff.
I think often it is if they are âreactionâ videos so they donât get flagged for using someone elseâs content by the system since itâs âdifferentâ.
I am not understanding this. The eight pack battery extension for the x75 flashlight. I was told each battery is 4250 milliamps. Either molicel p42a or Samsung 40t. 8* 4250mAh gets 34,000 milliamps. Battery Junction advertise it as 6,800mAh. I called and she said that is whatâs written on the battery pack and tried to explain it to me. series and parallel and all that stuff. 6800 milliamps isnât even 2* 4250mAh. Where does the other 27,200 milliamps go?
mAh is not a real unit of energy, Wh is. The voltage of this battery pack is 14.4V, with 6.8Ah, which is equivalent to 97.92Wh. It is very close to 118.4Wh of 8x 3.7V 4Ah batteries. As for the missing 20Wh. it is reasonable considering the different calculation methods, low voltage protection, and the upper limit of civil aviation on the energy of batteries carried by an individual.
One more question before I got to leave! Iâm trying to find out the weight of the X 75 with the bp8 extended battery pack? Nowhere can I find the weight of the light alone without the original four battery pack. Battery Junction can just give me the weight of the BP8 xtended battery pack. The only way to know is to know the weight of each battery pack and then subtract the difference. Or know the weight of the light alone and when battery Junction gives me the weight of the BPA battery pack Iâll be able to figure that simple math out. Iâm rushing cuz I have to leave hopefully that made sense .
The light weighs 2.73 lb with the original four battery pack.
The reason I want to know is because Iâm not buying the bp8 unless if I know the weight of the entire package.
Thx
This is insane. Can a flashlight malfunction and charge one of the batteries to an insane voltage?
K40. The light was not working right the output levels (6) were all very very low. I Checked the batteries five times when I got home to make sure I wasnât seeing things. One battery was 4.094 volts, the other battery was 4.093 volts and the last one was 4.527 volts!
How the hell did that happen? I checked my batteries before I put them in the light I check them before I put them in the charger and I check them when theyâre done being used in the flashlight.
Battery is not hot. I stored it in one of the coat closets so if it blows up I wonât get killed.
