mmm prob not then lol
Pretty expensive for something I won’t carry much cause of the weight.
Thanks Delta
Well, might want to wait for the official weight to be posted. It will be quite a bit heavier than the regular D4, but remember, the D4 is tiny. So this might still be comparable in weight to larger EDC lights made out of Aluminum.
That said, I’m not going for one at this point because I’m not interested in spending $80+ on a single EDC light. Would probably just opt for a Zebralight at that price, anyway. But still, this is really, really cool if price isn’t an issue and you are interested in different materials.
Just a titanium tube would look great with a cyan head and tailcap (or green). :sunglasses:
WOW!

Sorry, didn’t refresh the thread before posting this Ti link.
Time to get into the change jar!!
Real nice! I’ll wait till Mountain Electronics gets them in stock.
Really?!
Orderd a Normal D4 and a D1 yesterday… and this realeases now lol. Feels bad man
I think a D1 in titanium should look pretty cool!!!
Yes, I know, but you have to add $18 for the XPL HI, and another $2.50 for a pocket clip. Still quite a bit cheaper, but I’m a Zebralight fanboy so the price got close enough that the ZL made more sense.
I haven’t ruled out a D4, just not getting it yet.
OK, all I need is 645.00 in quarters and I can get the hole set!!!
I just seen these on intl outdoor. Ordered a raw ti with nichia.
Cant wait!
SWEET I want D, the purple and blue one, and A,B,C,E and F lol!!
Those are very pretty. I added some updates about it to post #1.
Updates since initial release
Between the small first batch and second batch:
- Firmware updated to V2
Since the second batch:
- XP-G2 3D tint added
- Screws added to hold down MCPCB tighter
- AR coating added to lens (not the purple type, doesn’t make the beam turn green)
- XP-L HI 3A tint added
- Green finish changed to a grainy texture
- Cyan finish added (with grainy texture like a garden pot or chalkboard)
- Pocket clip option added (clip-on type, very very firm)
- Throwy versions (D1 and D1S) now available
- Frosted optic available as an option for a smoother floodier beam
- 219c changed from 80CRI (somewhat cold and slightly green) to 90CRI (looks warmer and more rosy)
- MCPCB updated to rotate emitters for a round corona instead of a pinwheel pattern
- Titanium + copper version added
:+1: Cant wait to get one of them. My D4 will be here soon and then I’ll order one of the color ones
My D4 is the newer warmer Nichia emitter with a beautiful textured green coating. It’s getting a lot of compliments.
Nice! That is the one I ordered. I want to get one with the XP-L V3 A1 as well. Man these are sweet lights!

You can buy them here too:

That’s what i did, but i received a D1S in stead… :person_facepalming:
None the less, i think Neal won’t make that mistake again.
PS: I’ll probably have that D1S for sale soon…
Probably the best option in stead of returning and waiting and more waiting etcetera…
You ordered a D4 and received a D1s?
Ouch, i like the copper and titanium, but its an attack to my wallet!
I wonder if the Ti version has the v2 mcpcb…if so I’m getting one.
I think they probably all have the V2 MCPCB now.
