As you all probably know there is whole bunch of micro usb port chargers on ali and other stores. This is driving me nuts!
Why? Type C port is standard these days and imagine situation where you did not bring cable of your micro usb charger with you and you want to charge with your phone cable? Yes! You are right! It won’t fit!
But what is with TYPE-C port chargers? Where are they? Please help me to find them.
I decided to make a list for anyone who is in the need for such budget option.
If you find any other budget type-c chargers please don’t hesitate to reply in this thread. I appreciate your effort. Please reply and add your findings here. Thanks.
I think it’s better a proper changer with at least two batteriy slots and even better with its own wall brick - adapter ! It might be more pricey but it would be the best choice in long term ! Just my opinion !
I like a bigger AC fed charger at home as well. I have a few of those portable 2 bay chargers like the PB2. I don’t really use them very often to charge cells. I usually end up using them as a charging bank for other stuff.
These days there are plenty of chargers that have Type C input. I am not sure why the OP is having a hard time finding one.
Yeah, that is my preference too… for at home or fixed shop use. I also really like ones that can use the 12V DC cigarette light type cords. For camping or charging in the field.
OTH, I can see the value of small one or two bay chargers using USB C for travel. Using the phone charger to top off cells and keeping the number of items that need to be packed down is nice.
Unfortunately many “phone” chargers don’t have the capacity to really power a 4 bay charger well. So one ends up having to buy a supply that costs more than the charger to use the system.
A lot of tradeoffs there.
I have the XTAR VP2 for many years and it has wall and car adapters, and has the power bank feature, and it works perfectly over the years because i change my vaping batteries too, just recently i opened it up just to clean it inside and to lubricate the sliders !
( The only thing is that i can’t change AAA & AA
batteries on it ! )
So if you know “plenty” of budget single bay type-c chargers please reply to this topic with at least one if not two chargers like mentioned 5$Yoni TC1 charger.
Your original OP didn’t ask for single cell chargers. It asked for budget type C input chargers. So which is it. Budget type C chargers or only single cell type C chargers?
If you can find anything close to 5-6$ please let us know here please.

Single bay chargers are usually more budget friendly than multiple bay chargers. Finding one with type-C port is not that easy… Yoni TC1 is good example of bang for buck but where are the others?
So there is now a price of $5to $6. Single bay or multi bay.
I don’t know about anyone else but I am not to comfortable using cheap chargers like that. The Lii100 and 200 series and the rebranded of get a pass. They have always checked out good. I just did a quick search of Ali Express. Seems to be quite a few single and double bay type c input chargers.

Just to clarify I am BLF member since 2013.(and CPF member even before that) so I have premium chargers for my personal use. I got to have good and cheap budget chargers for making “the flashlight set” which will go with my modded lights. The lack of quality budget AC wall chargers forced me to open this thread which could be actually useful to a lot of members here . Lately aliexpress search-bar works poorly to me, whole site is unbearable slow at loading and I really can’t find stuff as I could before.
I will pick charger that suits me the most for my flashlight sets.
About Lii 100 series. They are all micro usb by judging by seller description and photo! If you find budget Lii with type-c please reply again here.

For real though these little modules will be the cheapest type c charger youll ever find. Without the welcome bonus you can still get 5 of them for $2 shipped. To connect it to your battery all you really need is a wire and tape. Maybe some solder.
Using the powerbank feature is what killed my vapcell S4+ and now I’m scared of all powerbank features lol. I should open it up and see what burnt. Wasn’t going to incase they’d warranty it but that’s probably not going to happen lol
