Didnāt the original S70 have a Flat or flats on the battery tube? This new S70S has a full round tube, which is really appealing to me, along with the price! Yeah I ordered one, canāt wait to see what else, internally, they have improved! 
Yes āflatsā on either side on the tube with Thorfire S70 & the Thorfire logo on.
I am still resisting, but have now put one in my cart :person_facepalming:

4000 lumens (possibly more due to Thorfireās habit of under rating, my S70 original is 3600 stock & most reported 3600-3800 lumens stock) for $37 or Ā£30 :person_facepalming:
I have just paid more than that for an SRK clone , albeit reported on here as having genuine Cree XM-L2ās & 3000 lumens on start up before heat becomes a problem.
I must stop myself buying this S70s

Lead us not into temptation for the lumens are bright My better half is not happy with me at the moment :cry: I as well have 4 in the mail The TN40S the X7 the S70 and the XT11GT along with a dozen 18650ās The prices where to irresistible not to buy them.
Well my whole family just prefers a big light like the S70 or L6, we are with 3, and with only 1 S70 and 1 L6 (the D170 is a smaller) there is space for 1 big light more 
What are the good 26650 batteries to go with S70s?
I will be using Liitokala 26650āS with it
5200mah & 15-20A constant drain.
I also have Keeppower, Basen & Thorfire 26650ās & the Liitokalaās are the best IMO

I have a S70ā¦ā¦ but to me it still looks like crap. ā¦ā¦ Especially when compared to the L6.
EDIT: i just read down to the $37 partā¦ at that price Iāll just have to live with v2 still looking like crap to me. Too good a deal to pass up based on looks alone. Cause no doubt they are a proven performer!! :+1:
