Very sorry for the bad shopping experience caused to users. Vapcell is the first time trying a charger with high current and compatibility with multiple battery types, and there are some technical issues that need to be addressed. The smoking of the circuit board is due to improper IC design, some bug issues. We will improve it. At present, there is a certain proportion of this situation.
If there is a problem with your charger, please contact the sales team for a refund
Sincere apology
Is there any issues with the second batch?
It’s probably the same batch if the PCB has the same date on it. ![]()
The second batch aims to address quality issues ![]()
Is the second batch in production because customer service said they sent me a second batch version. I just recieved it 11/17
Should i check this? If so how?
It’s nice that you replaced both of mine. However there’s a thing called quality control. You’ll see my comments near the beginning of this thread. Both of mine smoked and were damage Beyond safe use again… My house could have burned down. Or at the very least start an electrical fire if I wasn’t in the room when it happened.
None of these charges should have ever been shipped and sold to the customers before they we’re thoroughly tested and deemed safe.
Overall the su-2-5 amp charger is way way better than the s4 plus. Every time I pick the charge current for su2-5 amp it worked. That cannot be said for any of the many S4 plus that I’ve got.
Thx
Today another bad experience with Vapcell. I ordered 2pcs Molicel 18650 M35A
What they sent were Vapcell also M35A. Molicel is made in Taiwan and has a good reputation. But today one of the Vapcells nearly set my house afire.
Having charged the two batteries in the SU2-adapter, I took the left one out of the bay because it was 100 percent and 2500mAh. By taking the battery out, there was a blowpipe flame coming right out the top of the battery. I watched more closed and discovered a white kind of plastic on top of the battery and also a bit left in the adapter. Was it the adapter or the battery, I was not sure and put the battery back and again out with a new blowtorch. Then I tried it to measure the voltage but that was the last thing with this battery for the smoke came out and I hurried to throw it outdoors.
Question for you/anyone is this: should this have happened if I had recieved two genuine Molicel M35A batteries, as ordered?
Looks like I spoke too soon again. I haven’t had these replacement, I repeat replacement Chargers more than 6 weeks or so.
Just look at the photos. Without batteries in there it says Err.
Prior to that it was flashing like it’s supposed to flash in pro mode then you press display and it locks in the charge current. Again, no batteries in there it’s supposed to say Null like the one photo with the one that still works. Who knows how long the other one will keep working ? It was also stuck in NIMH chemistry. It would not change.
it was doing all this without a battery and again then it turned to ERR in both Pro and simple mode. I’ve never had a vapcell charger last more than a year the only reason I keep buying these is not much out there. That’s over I’m officially done I will use an old-fashioned charger that takes longer that’s reliable.
I just sent them an email telling them about this. My guess is they’re not even going to respond. They’re 50/50.
Looks like they have a lot more work to do. Scroll down and see the post. Have a good day.
From what date did you start shipping the fixed batch?
Mine was also not working correctly and after having showed them my video, they promised me to send a “good” one.
Still somewhee in China, but hope it will be working as it should
Sorry for the late response I just noticed this. The odds are pretty good there’s nothing wrong with your batteries it’s the charger. Look how many issues they’ve had and continue to have.
It still is possible that it’s the batteries maybe they’re fake? Where did you get them? Was it a reliable source?
I ordered these batteries with Vapcell. I asked for Molicel M35A but they sent Vapcell M35A where the problem started right after it was charged. Wanted Molicel but got Vapcell M35A. Molicel is more reliable, it this thought right? Replacement was offered by Vapcell and the explanation was that it had something to do with contact with iron. White substance came out of this cell though after the blowpipe torch. Scary and dangerous.
