I think they are still worth it even at that price. I doubt the batteries can be recharged being they are years old already. I’m considering purchasing one of those Shorai LiPoFe4 batteries for mine being that the Shoria batteries are much smaller and not even a third of the weight of the SLA battery I’m using.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing if it’s an SLA battery. I’m not sure what’s in it though.

Brad, you’re looking for the 4” model? The one DayLighter posted is the 6” model and might even be the Mozo Mega, which I’ve owned as well. I snagged it for $65 but later sold it for that same price. Ever since they climbed in price.

Ma_sha (mostly posts on CPF) modded both lights and said the rebranded models are just as capable and great bang for the buck. Of course, that was back when prices were lower.

You’ll sacrifice quite a bit of lux with the 4” model but it’s supposed to feel really compact. The 6” puts out about 450k while the 4” is something like 225k I believe.

I would like the 6” model. But I want one in like almost new condition. I prefer a 4300K bulb already installed and one with a fairly new battery.

Brad, since they are no longer produced you arne't going to get a fairly new battery. In fact, you would be much better off with a used one that had been recharged frequently.

Well I was talking in reference to someone that maybe used their POB some and just put a new battery in it recently.

But I do want one that looks like new pretty much. I’m a collector you know. LOL!

I’ll fine one of these eventually that someone bought several of at the time for cheap that is like new and they will part with one. It’s just a matter of time. I know there are some good ones still out there that are in the box still.

I like this one from Aliexpress. It’s the only one of the bunch that runs on Li-ion battery pack. It’s also about half the weight of my POB.
