Hi, here is Simon from Convoy , I will not stop sending packages to the United States.I have communicated with the logistics company.But because the logistics company has not given the final plan, I can not provide more details at present. If your package is taxed after May 2 , the tariff you pay may not be as high as you think.If the tariff policy will not change in the future, the logistics company will launch the DDP transportation route.
Killzone is an independent retailer selling multiple brands located in Texas. He had an order of some “custom” armytek C2 Pro nichia 3000k in the works for a couple of months. This new batch was listed on April 16. I don’t know when it would have gone through customs. The old price was $95, the new price is $150. The order would have been placed before any of this was known. I’m not trying to speculate as to what the tariff was at that point or how much is being passed along. I don’t know how many he is stocking but the order would have been way over $800
I bought a X75 off him(Jodi) a couple weeks ago. I asked if he was able to get me a bp8 battery pack? He said he couldn’t and all their orders were being shut down for now. Because of the tariffs.
On a side note I bought a brand new Honda on January 31st. It had 10 miles on it. I wonder what that’s going to cost today or 3 or 6 months from now. It has to be higher.
Hi there, just so you know I moved your first post in this topic to another thread.
Here at BLF we’re normally pretty laid back about off-topic comments and tangential discussions within threads, and as the moderator I don’t like to micro-manage threads. But in this particular thread it’s important to strictly adhere to these guidelines:
The companies with US stocks won’t be affected yet, so Amazon and Sofirn/Wurkkos, even somw Banggood and AE orders won’t be subject. However those probably won’t last…
Hello everyone, I have noticed your questions about https://www.sofirnlight.com/ adding 50% tariffs. I will give a unified explanation here:
The 50% tax collected is 50% of the discounted price;
If American customers choose to ship from China, they do not need to pay additional tariffs locally. If you encounter this situation (very rare), please contact our customer service email to directly apply for a return and refund (including paying local taxes when placing an order), and we will protect the rights of customers to the greatest extent;
If our website’s US warehouse has inventory, please choose the purchase link shipped from the US warehouse, so that you will not need to pay any tariffs.
Finally, thank you for your concern and support for Sofirn Flashlight!
I took a look at a pass through device for diagnostics on our Volvo i saved to my AE wishlist back in 2024. It was $26 back then. Now it’s $56 plus an additional like $47 for customs. A lot of the smaller items on my list are marked “unavailable” now (won’t ship to USA).
So for an aluminum S2+ with a 519A it costs $15.21 without shipping. In the past, anything over $5 was free shipping. Now here are the shipping charges:
