Waterproof single 18650 / 2x 18350 case

I’m looking for a waterproof case for carying a single 18650 or two 18350’s. All I can find are these silicone cases. But I want to carry them in my bag and jacket and don’t want them to get beaten up or wet.

I have used these Match holder
I got a thicker o-ring (double the cost!) and if you have to careful not to over tighten the cap it will strip off from the container. It was cheap and usable, but I didn’t feel comfortable with the cap, I always feel the cap could pop off

Then I have this Container I got mine from Banggood.
This one needed lubricant on the threads and o-ring and insulation to prevent the cell from shorting. It is big for the pocket, so it goes into my pack .

There are these Tactical containers for $20 US as well but I won’t spend that money

My misteak for 18650 you will need this Vault XL Even more money :confounded:

Thanks, but already got 6 of these :slight_smile: Looking for something a bit more EDC (I want to EDC my Emisar D4 with short tube, but want to take a bit more capacity with me :laughing:.

Might be a good idea to look for aluminium cases not specifically made for batteries. If the length is larger than the length of the battery, it will not short. Only problem will be the rattling, but that’s easy to solve:)

Overready sells lots of options , and there’s also a product that this reddit post mentions.

Convoy S2+. Kill two birds with one stone. Backup light /spare battery.

Yep, I’d just carry a 2nd [waterproof] light.

If you just have to have a case, most batteries don;t need waterproofing.

Have you tried fitting two unprotected 18350’s?

2 purple efest flat top 18350’s fit but you can not completely close both caps.
2 black efest’s protected button tops do not fit.

2 tailcaps and a shorty tube make a really nice 18350 storage tube.
