Kubu Dugu again for Tanto Tuesday. This is a good little knife and one of a few (especially with proud lock bar jimping) that feel good to me stock.
Very cool shot of a very cool knife!
So I finally got a chance to mess with the new Kizer Helmet. I was happily surprised to see that it runs on multi-row bearings! The stock ergonomics were decent but I still rounded the scale edges a bit. Perhaps the best thin here is the 2.5mm-thick blade in Nitro-V. Such a nice cutter!
Speaking of budget Kizers that have multi-row ceramic bearings, I carried “The Swedge” today. Definitely cool for a full-sized folder, though I don’t love the baby brown with the black coated metal. I might try dyeing it down the road.
BTW, knife names can be funny, like yesterday’s Kizer Helmet being a knife and not a helmet. Including the definite article on “The Swedge” struck me as silly and causes me to add quotation marks when I write it.
Ashiro Spiro CF Wharnie on Fuente Friday!
Great looking scales. Custom made?
Thanks! They’re Flytanium Lotus scales that I had custom Cerakoted in a pearl red and the hardware Cerakoted in copper. And it has a solid copper back spacer.
