I’ve had issues with a few Civivi button locks. Even considering the best button locks I’ve had from Civivi, Kizer does it better. I’ve had a bunch of Kizer button locks and they’re the best I’ve had for a button lock.
… and another Sencut Snap for the day!
I think I mentioned it before, but I avoided the Vosteed Corgi and Pup because I watched the blade flopping around. But that’s not really the problem, I really like the compression lock on the Para 2, because the blade stays put in the handle securely.
With the Civivi there’s so little retention the thing is actually dangerous, I reached into my bag and it was part opened and I’d only dumped the rucksack off my shoulders to stop for a break. The drop, or perhaps a misstep or trip by me was enough to dislodge it. That’s not good enough IMO.
Ah the UKPK in magnacut… very nice. I’m still signed up for the stock email on Heinnie but I suspect I’ll be waiting forever…

This picture reminds me of a velociraptor
I like how some knives look like birds. Dinosaurs are even better!
Begleiter 2 with just a little ergonomic softening on the scales.
I often forget the naming numbers for TwoSun but here is some titanium stuff and a little platinum…
I have had this for quite a while, but I picked it up this morning to carry today.
It is a Caly3 carbon fiber with a ZDP189 laminate blade. I had forgotten how much I like it.
Kizer Helmet with some ergonomic softening…
tried to like this one, but it was too big for EDC.
nice knife, just not discrete enough for me.

I handled one of those before. At the point where I’m thinking of that in my pocket, I’d just go with a fixed blade.
The only reason I don’t carry an EDC fixed blade more often is the additional need to keep it at least semi-concealed. That dovetails with the importance of paying mind when resheathing!
Now it mostly happens when my pockets are otherwise full and I’m wearing the right clothes to make it less conspicious on my belt.
