What blade did you EDC today?

There is so much I could say… but yeah, me too!

1 Thank

Yeaaaaa, I really left that one open

I lurk in this thread all the time, because I am never without a blade, and I have a small number of decent knives/tools. Always curious to see what’s new out there.

I don’t post regularly because, well, it would get boring pretty quickly ;-), as I carry a Leatherman Charge+ with black G10 handles almost exclusively.

I will note that I am very pleased with the fit of the KR1AA in the Leatherman cloth sheath.

So what you are actually saying is that you need to buy a whole bunch of cool pocket knives and need encouragement from us?

Well, get to it!

Micarta Monday in a frozen wasteland…

Looks like it is a tight fit alright… Maybe some effort to get it in and out?

I think I have one of those cases. I will have to try it.

Preference, you say…so the bias isn’t exactly towards a zero value…

That is a nice looking knife!

It’s tight, but it was tighter on the D3AA, so an improvement. Previous to the D3AA, it was a TS10, which also fits very nicely. I can retrieve the KR1AA with one hand, but putting it back generally takes two.

This sheath is relatively new and the sleeve is fresh. They stretch over time, last sheath got to the point that that the clip was a necessity.

Well show us the Belgian beer glasses.
We dig collections.

Very nice.
Really like the one on 2nd shelf down front Left.
They are all sweet.
Thanks!

That style/shape is known as a teku glass.

It’s like the designers took a goblet, and said “we need this in glass”

1 Thank

Oooooohhh, Pretty. What about those thick stemmed ones in the middle of the 2nd from bottom shelf? I like those too, lol

**the “Orval”?

1 Thank

These are the ones I thought we were talking about, lol…you have a very fine collection here.

**(i hate that literary language is so heavily reliant on punctuation to split ideas, lol…2nd shelf, down front left, vs. 2nd shelf down, front left)

1 Thank

Those on the bottom shelf on the left side are what I usually think of as “Martini” glasses. Are they used for beer as well?

Nice collection BTW!

1 Thank

Yes, those are martini glasses, they are interlopers. At some point in the future, if I find additional, qualified beer glasses, they will be evicted.
