What is your favorite fast food.

I have a few. Pizza of course, chinese food, Mexican including tacos, burritos, etc.

What is yout favorite?

What do you count as fast food? I ordered a Chinese takeaway last week, it took 15 minutes to prepare., but I drove home quite fast, so I guess that counts. Chinese food uses lots of fresh veggies, yumm.

When I stayed in. Oregon, my favourite food was mexican bean burrito, quacamole, rice and chilli sauce.

I used to make pizza including the dough, but I can no longer eat cheese. :frowning:

All the examples you mentioned are considered fast food. Thank You for detailed answer.

Sushi.
Cheeseburger.
Burrito.
Chick-fil-a.
All the Best, Jeff

It takes me five minutes to measure out the flour, fifteen minutes to activate the dried yeast, half an hour to kneed the pizza dough, 1 hour to rise the dough, five minutes to roll it out, half an hour to rise it again, 10 minutes to cook tomato sauce, five minutes to add sauce and other ingredients, 6 minutes to cook, 10 seconds to eat. That’s fast? Okay, I eat it fast.

Pizza is fast food when made in a factory and someone reheats it, or when the crust comes premade (frozen?). But pizza made by someone (could be in a restaurant or at home) who makes the sauce and crust from real ingredients, not from a can, nothing from a factory, not frozen, is not fast food. It may look the same, but it does not have the preservatives or food factory additives. There is a difference there.

I like Wendy’s Biggie Bag because it gives you a lot of food for the money.
The price of the Biggie Bag has gone up quite a bit since it was first introduced, but it’s still the best deal that I have found.
It’s not very healthy, though. :slightly_smiling_face:

Pizza and Choinese food when getting it elsewhere, 'though haven’t done that in quite a while ($$$).

Usually make my own in-house. “Pizza” on english muffins, though. (Sauce then cheese, else cheese then sliced tomato.) Not quite “fast”, though…

Don’t do McD’s, Spendy’s, Booger King, Taco Hell, etc., as prices are obscene. Rather spend the same bux in a diner for a much better meal.

I got Biggie Bag’s latest rap album…

My favorite diner meal has to be the turkey club sandwich. Not fast food but damn good and typicaly $15 or so.

I haven’t been in a traditional “fast food” restaurant (if that’s what you call it) since I retired last year. I’m talking BK, McD’s, Arby’s, CFA, TB, etc. Maybe once a month or so prior. We do Chinese T/O every other week or so, and there’s a localized chain restaurant that has pretty good haddock fish fry dinners we order once in a while. I love pizza, and we get T/O occasionally, but the pizza quality pretty much sucks around our AO.
But alas, there is always the ubiquitous “Garbage Plate” (Google it). Wicked goodness. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Pick your poison. A culinary highway to hell. I friggin’ LOVE it!!!

Jimmy John’s and Bill Miller BBQ

Although Wendy’s is my favorite fast food joint, usually when my family and I go out to eat, we go to John’s Restaurant, which is a local diner.
John’s is maybe twice as expensive as Wendy’s, but the food is much better, and they’re reasonably quick for a restaurant. :yum:

Definitely Popeyes chicken. Me and the wife drive into town once in a while and snag a bucket of the spicy Cajun chicken and some red beans and rice. So bad for us but so good.

Truck food! I know that’s really nondescript and maybe unfair to the question but I love food trucks. Mexican food trucks, Asian food trucks, fish food trucks, hamburger food trucks, I love em all. Yeah, the quality varies but I’ve been amazed more times than I’ve been disappointed. The same old food truck can get boring, so you gotta get out on the road to strange towns to really experience food trucking at its best. If its a heavily ethnic community, so much the better. Ya never know what you’re gonna get but sometimes it will blow you away.

Sounds like you’d love poutine, a ‘dish’ served in Quebec province, Canada.

Most lately it has been Pizza, Chinese and Five Guys - Pizza is a weekly staple in my diet

I know it is very much normal to go out to eat in 'murica, but for me, I haven’t been to a Fast Food Place in years.
Too expensive for too much unhealthy food.
Eating at home is so much cheaper and I control what I eat, not someone else.

I have a small pizza oven, making a pizza in there is like 2$ with fresh dough and ingredients that I choose - so lots and lots of pineapple :japanese_ogre:
