What is your favorite fast food.

Smashburgers have a presence in the ny metro area. They smash their burgers flat. If you get a shake shack as well, try that too.

In my opinion, those if those price hikes show an increased revenue at the end of the year even when adjusted for inflation, then they’re charging too much.

Where do you get that.

Yeah, They™ make a big stink about smash burgers on the cooking channels. Supposedly smashing them down smooshes more meat-surface to the pan for more browning.

Yeah, fine, but then the edges split and “flower” and become all uneven.

Me, I like my burger-mold where you drop in a ball of meat, smoosh it down into the edges, then use this thing that looks like an air-hockey mallet to press it down flat into the form, then you get a perfectly shaped meat-puck to drop onto the pan.

You can taste the symmetry…

Last week I ordered two extra large “specialty” pizzas from Black Jack Pizza. I had a coupon that gave me $4 of of one. By the time they added tax and delivery fees and my 10% tip it came to right at $60… SIGH>

They have been here in Denver for a few years. For a while they were all the rage around here. Always packed for lunch. I have had their food a few times. It is OK, but not something I would wait in line for. But I like 1/2 pound thick juicy burgers.

I like a fat burger. Smashing might be tasty but it kills the meat.

Mom’n’Pop places are usually the best, though. They’ll deliver, but around here don’t actually charge for delivery, but we always tipped the guy quite well.

Desperation to have it delivered, though. Anything wrong/missing with the order means more delays.

Nowadays with fees, etc., nfw would I have shiite delivered. I’d always check the order when picking it up, too.

Same like that pizza place a basketball guy started. Fire, Flame, something like that.

Pretty good, marginally worth the price, but the long waits killed it for me. Would wait for a late lunch if I’d go. And when the initial novelty wore off and lines abated, then I’d go for a little treat every now and again.

it’s easily found all over Indonesia. just like pho in vietnam.
