What knife did you get today?

havent got a new knife in a couple months but finally got my hands on a textured grab ’n stab. i need to keep it well oiled, my one wish is that it was made out of a high quality stainless like elmax instead of oil quenched O1 tool steel, but this thing is insane. http://tsdcombatsystems.com/tsd-grab-n-stab-knife/

its blade is upside down so it encourages reverse grips which are more effective in close quarters. the below excerpt sums it up

“And it was with those eyes that we developed the Grab N Stab knife, an offensive concept blade. The graphic name describes its use and application. You grab, you stab, repeat as necessary. There is a purity in the simplicity that is untarnished by the concept of martial arts. The Grab N Stab is made for proactive/aggressive knife fighting. It is the quintessential small combat knife. Its use is paleolithic – intuitive. No art or clever knife drills are needed, just aggression, violence, and a point.” -gabe suarez

The only olive G10 I have are the SRM 604 and 909 knives.

The SRM 723 (buck 327 copy) has an available finish like that.

Thank you very much gcbryan and haterade !

I think the SRM 723 and related knives with camouflage handles from Sanrenmu got no G10 handles but metal handles covered with colored foil.
The look of the black blade with the digi camo handles is pretty nice though.

The SRM 909 is not my cup of tea and the SRM 604 is just a little bit too small.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

I just found this knife, looks like structured g10 and the description mention g10 as well.

I just recently recieved my el01! I was hoping to recieve the “BEE” designation as apposed to enlan and got lucky. I just think it looks cooler!

VERY beefy knife for the money. Well actually regarless of price, it is just a real knife. I love everything about it and couldnt help but wave mod the spine, makes it a little more fun to open S)

Absolutely cant beat it for the price and quality!

90mm Higonokami http://www.ebay.com/itm/200710707362

Same size as SRM 710... except slimmer. 3 inch blade, so should be UK legal.

I got an Enlan EL-07 and order a SRM MU962 of Exduct. Now, the 962 is out of stock.

Nice one!
How does it perform during every day cutting tasks?

After light sharpening cuts paper easily... so will work great opening post and packages (my every day cutting tasks ).

Definitely not one handed open... pretty tight.

Has little bit rough finish... which I actually like.

Will probably start EDC this... it's so small and light.

I received my black Arkansas stone today. It seems to work well.

Just received 3 Bee/Enlan knives from Lazy Lizard Gear; EL-01, L-05 and L-06. Incredible! Fit & finish are first-rate and all three are scary sharp. Right out of the box all three will shave hair, perfect lock-up and no blade play at all. All three are incredible bargains. Thanks Jon and thanks Enlan!

Got this Kershaw Skyline in the mail the other day, could’ve got it cheaper but didn’t have a “lust” for it at the time. Only had it in my hands for a bit but still liking it.

Enlan EM01:

A big knife, 1060 steel.

Yesterday postman Pat brought me a Sanrenmu (MingRen??) 913P and a Leen 1203-2.

Sanrenmu 913P from jusaya.de. Some claim it to be a fake by Mingren factory. I don’t know. All I know it’s a hell of a folder knife. Rock solid quality and I am extremely happy with it (only have it since yesterday…). The construction breathes quality and it is definetly worth every cent up to the €29.99 I had to pay.

Leen 1203-2 from Manafont. Cool little bugger. Pure metall. No G10/plastic. Too tiny for my hand though. I find these smaller folders hard to deploy and they require a special grip. Build quality very good, deploys really fast and was super sharp out of the box. Small but noticable sideways bladeplay. This is a definetly a keeper.

Wow, that 913P looks really cool!

As I see its handle is identical with the BM 10750 Vex:

It’s 8Cr14MoV (57-58HRC) according to jusaya.de. Blade itself has no steel quality engravings.

got this knife in the mail today, Sanrenmu PR-728, feel and workmanship appears great, time will tell about the hardness of the steel. Not into knife collecting at all, even don't know if it is an original design, just loved the looks of it.
