Aliexpress shopping —- Cold Steel Recon Tanto clone - Satin and Bear Head 95 mini Ti.

I don’t have any new Cold Steel blades but I have several Tanto blades and an unground khukri produced by Camillus. How does the current steel compare to the old ‘carbon v’?
There are a lot of cold steels in aliexpress, but for me they are not clones, they are fake because the “cold steel” text are on it. If a brand copies the design and put its name that is another thing.
I saw a video with a rajah 2 real and the fake from aliexpress and the fake with a soft hit was closed with a failure of the lock system (they have not tri-ad-lock system).
As I have said many times I am not a fan of tip down. This was just too cool to pass up though. I have been curious about Paul locks for a while too.
Came from bladeforums market place.
Could not help myself

I really like the design and am eyeballing it for a while now ![]()
^ That is sweet. I am not a fan of the serrations but that is still a sweet knife.

Fox RL01
Came up for sale, looked interesting enough for me to grab it, lol
Nice grab! Custom?
Just ordered the Kevin John Venom 2 from DHGate.
That is one very cool looking knife. I came so close to pulling the trigger on it.
Every time an original comes up for sale, I am always on the fence, lol.
I received my Ganzo G7392 today. One odd thing about it is that when the knife is closed and I shake it, I can hear something rattling. I think it’s something in the locking mechanism because when I open the knife and it’s locked, I do not hear any rattling. It just sounds like something is loose.
I own other Ganzo’s with axis-lock and none of them make any rattling noises while closed. Other than that, everything else about the knife is perfect.
I pulled the trigger on the cheaper 9Cr18 version of the Venom 2 for under $30. The S35VN is over $200.
