Kaiyoates? Yeah, they are healthy looking. Are these completely dependent on wild prey or, could they be scavenging people food waste?
No photo this time, but my sister picked up a California kingsnake and showed it to me.
She’s picked up many California kingsnakes over the years, and this is the first one that peed on her.
She said that the pee smelled like death.
At least she didn’t get bitten!

He possum-waddled up the hill to the shed when I first saw him. After finally scooting under the shed, he came down the hill in front of me, again. This is the only possum I’ve experienced this behavior with.
