some vaping gear, my local shop is also getting in Samsung 20r’s, will be picking some of them up.

for the price of those mods, the machining really puts most torches to shame, and their keeping me off the ciggies whilst saving me money. budget minded to the last.

Here’s the two mods assembled and ready for use

I got three flashlights yesterday, all little zoomies. One is the first SK58 I had on order. I expected an Osram led and three modes but got an XR-E and one mode, which may make it redundant with the other one I have on order.
I got a grey 3 mode UltraFire SK68. Mailed from Sweden! I hope it is one of the two I ordered from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-x-SK68-Silver-UltraFire-CREE-Q5-Zoomable-Focus-LED-300lumen-Waterproof-Mini-AA-14500-Camp/596272788.html and not my XM-L order with the wrong led or the Smiling Shark I ordered with the wrong brand. There is no packing slip, as usual, and nothing on the envelope I can associate with any of my orders.
The third is the $2 wonder from Wallbuys discussed here 3-mode Zoom AA/1450 EXPIRED ! "Black" $1.99 Max 3ea . It seems an excellent design well executed. It is a re-designed narrower SK68. It is not as bright because it has a little less current (probably limited because of heating) and the lens is smaller and slightly longer focal length. But for practical use, the SK68 has output to spare and is big for its battery size, so this may be a better compromise. The smaller maximum diameter with about the same inner diameter means it can be machined from a smaller thinner tube, making it cheaper because less metal has to be machined off and it takes less material. $2.00 is just introductory but $4 seems to be its regular price. The slide takes just about the right force and bounces back a bit showing that it is waterproof. The finish is smooth everywhere and the threads on bezel and tail cap are good. I haven’t taken it apart yet. The longitudinal fins on the head may be extruded.

6 * 18mm cells arrived yesterday 2 days after ordering - courtesy of this nice thread. If you have any 18650 lights that have primary cell options, or 3*AAA lights, the thread is worth the read.

Finally my MT-G2s arrived from Intl-Outdoor

Hopefully they perform as good as they look! :stuck_out_tongue:

Payment sent on 26-Sep so these took a heck of a long time to get here, 39 days in total. :frowning:

Got my Crelant V11A XM-L2 ($19.99) and 7G3CS XM-L2 ($25.99) from Doingoutdoor (arrived very fast) and DQG 18650 II NW from Cnqualitygoods.

My 2 orders from FT which made before these haven’t arrived yet. :~

When did you ordered 7G3CS? Because I wanted to buy the same flashlight from Bill, I send him email -> no response, second email -> no response, third email -> yet again no response so I give up. He had if I remember correctly about 6 pieces at that time. Then something happened and almost all crelants disappeared from his site!

Very unprofessional guy…

Scored a Xeon copper heatsink from local goodwill yesterday. 590g (1.3lbs) chunk of copper for $3!

Similar item from ebay sells for $30 (don’t forget $60 shipping to my location). This picture is not mine, copied from web, but this is the same exact thing.

What luck, these are almost never seen around here.

Date Ordered: Friday 18 October, 2013

I didn’t email him before made the order. May be automatic delist it if run out of stock.

I got Li-ion cells from China!

Protected, Button top, real Panasonic, at 3.65V. ($14.90 / pair w. coupon bgf120) I'm happy!

Banggood delivers! Thank You!

After 56 days I finally got my SRK driver from Wallbuys. At least it has 3 toroids like it did in their picture.

I got a new toy

also to protect it…

hey, it has a led! and it’s more powerful than my dqg aaa

Since you did not write what did you actually get we can only assume it is some chinese LG clone phone and empty box as a protector! after all it is a “invisible shield” so basically empty box J)

Solar Force loot

L2m body, L2t head, S11 switch

Thinking a 4.2v--4a ramping driver, xml2 t6 (I think, maybe u2), and an OP reflector for now. Basically because that is what I have to work with for spare parts right now

3 XM-L2’s from Fasttech.

12 days after hitting “Pay”.

TrustFire TR-A9…solid little light…pretty good for $29!

A pair of DMM leads from FastTech. Only 18 days from ordering to letterbox. Via Hong Kong Post.

.
And not exactly on topic, but I might read by torchlight. >) Book #40 in the Discworld Series Via Amazon Kindle App for P.C.

sorry to mislead you, it’s a 32GB version of LG G2 (which is hard to get in Europe) for 539 euros
the invisible shield is already installed on it and it is quite hard to see  but I can feel the edges of it sometimes

Hopefully Fasttech or whoever builds the SRK won’t glue the tail cap and driver board in place. They are a bugger to remove. Anyway I need to meet my mail person at the curb today. The mailbox will be rather full today. I think I’ll bring the wheel barrow.

Already had all of it... but mashed them together to make something new

XML2 t6

qlite rev A

10mm aluminum star

p60 module with OP reflector

Have it set to 4 mode. I have it installed in my new L2m/L2t lego. Impressive little light now, though its not really anything special or too much different from other lights I had this set up in... but its smaller

I think I like 18350 sized lights now.
