(1)-Most Lumens*-Is Brightest*(3)-Most Throw

With either single or multi-leds and uses the battery

sizes—18650_or_26650—(single or multiples)

A cheap SRK clone. I can’t imagine what else it would be?

EDIT: for <$30 before shipping you could go with a more expensive SRK clone. RMM sells the Securitying for $29.95 w/ very reasonable shipping prices inside the US. That’s one of the higher quality SRK clones available.

No single right answer. also under $30 without batteries is going to be different than under $30 batteries and charger included.

If the $30 doesnt include battery cost, the Smallsun ZY-T08 is a great thrower, with good battery life that can usually be had <$30.

A Trustfire 3T6 is a good flooder that puts out a ton of light in the $30 range batteries not included.

There are several SkyRay Kings (or King clones?) Cree 7X XM-L T6 flashlights up for auction on eBay, should be able to win a bid for under $30.
Currently the color choices are black or gold (for under $30).
(Personally I’m trying to find a good deal on SRK 7X XM-L T6 in a gray color, best price I can find is $38.99)

I’m just trying to find the under $30 “flashlight only.”

I don’t need the batteries included with it. I just listed

the size batteries I preferred for use in the flashlight.

I have all 3 the ZY-T08 throws the best, may not be the highest total output but farthest.

Depends on how you prioritize throw vs output But…

I’d say some proven choices:
HD2010— good throw + good spill. Great all around. 18650 or 26650 About $26
Jacob A60— fantastic pencil beam long throw, not great spill, so-so output & only
$16ish. Terrific value & “must have” first thrower.
ZY-T08— IMHO Slightly more throw & less spill than HD2010. 2 cells for more
runtime. Can be modded into fairly beastly thrower. I have one
Cereal_Killer modded—and it Is a prized possession.
