Well, we had a huge street lighting project last year, but when we finnished it it seems some emitters left…several K actualy, and i was wondering if our forum community will be interested in those, i could get them realy cheap if i buy all…maybe arround 50 cent
What do you think?
It will be tough to sells thousands of XP-E2's here on BLF, but for say 60 cents+shipping you will get rid of quite a few (if however it were XM-L2 U3 leds....)
It does not help much, but I would buy at least 10 :-)
Yeah, was a highway…usualy, thats how things works in the construction business- its better to overbuy and have in stock, than not to have and miss the deadline
Well, I’m sure things are different when talking about a huge highway project. But when I was in construction, if someone overbought that much, they were very quickly no longer in construction!
M8, thnigs are a bit complicated, usualy a project of that value is …always on a move, something changes always while in progress, you have to have in stock “spare parts” for the guarentee periot, sometimes they change the emitter( or other) and you already ordered the old one, but you cant say no…complicated!
The real pain is when you miss the deadline here…then the covernment start a mass whine, the investor, and the EU …and the worst is the EU commitee
it's a shame they aren't neutral white otherwise I would have bought some of these to use in place of the Nichia 119s I use in workshop lights just to not have to mod the stars :) Good luck with the sales though
Well, me and a colleague bought them all today, i will have 3 rolls soon
I will need arrouund 1k for my garden lighting( and some in-front-of-the-house streets lamps, they are always burnning), the rest will be awailable…at the end i will sell the rest in Ebay probably, its a shame to miss that offer
Will update the topic in the sell forum soon
Have to calculate the final price, but with the PP tax it would be like 56-58 cents/pc
