Looks good. I like the proportions and boost driver.
It’s a pity it does not have Anduril. Hopefully the UI is good.
Red light is not something I have a practical use for.
I would prefer a single main LED with usable throw rather than two LEDs with inferior throw and probably a bad beam.
I might buy it.

I might (hopefully) be wrong, but it wouldn’t be the first time that the boost driver is only for the AA/1,5V and that the 14500 uses a FET driver.

The boost driver for the AA makes sense, to get at least 3 Volt for the LED’s. But if it would also be a boost driver for the 14500, that it would have to be boosted to at least 6V for the main white LED’s I assume. (Which also means that the 1,5V AA needs to be boosted to that.)

A buck/boost driver seems to make more sense in my opinion, but it could also be, as I mentioned before, that only the AA side uses a boost driver.

We will wait and see what kind of driver Wurkkos produced. :blush:

Well, here’s hoping for a good tint hi cri white LEDs and deep reds with a buck boost.

I might be wrong but this is exactly my thought as well. It’s boost for AA and probably FET for 14500. Yet marketing people decided to write only boost on the website.

On the bright side, the quoted runtimes at shown outputs suggest regulated output at 200-300 lm•h off a 14500 battery.

At least we know that there is a new strap-bracket and that the clip probably can be left on when attaching it to the headband.

Perhaps the beam angles refer to to ‘hot spot’ and the spill part of each white beam? Would you have a picture of the light beam on a wall?
