@darrenyeo I have been interested in this model for a long time and it fulfills what I am looking for.
But:
Is it comfortable to wear?
Is it heavy?
Does it feel warm on the forehead?
I never decided because I saw that it uses 21700 battery and they are usually heavy these flashlights, it also looks very big.
Thank you.
It’s actually comfortable as it’s the shortest 21700 headlamp I’ve owned. It does get pretty hot on higher modes, though the headband rubber area insulates well.
Thanks!
Thanks for the link, I will look into it.
How does it compare with the Wurkkos HD15R or the Sofrin D25LR?
Interested in how deep the red is, and the lumens of the red seems dimmer than my Sofrin or the Wurkkos I had…they were 150 lumen. Looking for good red light, as well as maybe something brighter…but what’s the weight with battery? The Sofrin is around 116g with the battery, which I find a good weight.
Anyone has idea what is current draw in this lamp?
I’m not so much interested in max output as I am in running time, especially at hi with spot + flood. I know that the running time should be 3 h + but how much is the step down in light as it gets warm ?
I only do shorter runtime tests but there are other reviewers like Tim McMahon who does extensive tests on his lights. I don’t think he has this one yet though.
It’s comfortable but heavy yes. Doable but I like 18650 headlamps better. It got really hot on turbo. Just use it on lower modes and it shouldn’t feel hot
