It’s easy to reset (either full reset with 13H or by looking at the default configuration in the repository).
@Wurkkos_Terry just curious whose idea is it to use both alpha and numeric to name the mode? How is F6 better than 6, or F? I have a headache thinking what the advantage might be.
And why is A1 on the rightmost side? Shouldn’t the table start with A1? Ah better get my cup of coffee to stop this picky nastiness. Am probably wrong too. ![]()
Might get a sample…might not
Unfortunately, after testing the finished product, due to differences in LED VF, it is not very stable in the moonlight mode and may flicker slightly. The program still needs some adjustment, and the lowest current needs to be increased, so the sale will be delayed ![]()
The forever delayed flashlight ![]()
Any idea when it will be released?
Website seems to say 3 days more waiting, so not that bad, assuming it actually does go live then
At least as much as it takes to reflash all units, including the already packed ones, most probably.
I suppose it might be due to some engineer’s specific humor. lol
Hi Terry,
What will be lowest lumen flux in TS26?
I heard it’s going to be a 6000k emitter? What a disapointment
I want 4000k and no moonlight
There’s a ton of lights that have 6500k ish already on the market
Using 5700k 519As would be sad TBH.
I want 5000k ![]()
Terry, thanks for keeping us posted.
I believe I speak for the absolute majority when I say that we all prefer a product that is perfect (or as close to it as possible), than one that’s quick – so thanks Wurkkos for doing the right thing and prioritizing goodness over speed.
They’re not even using 519A emitters, but low CRI TN3535 according to the sku.
Edit: They may actually be 5000K Ra90, considering koef3’s test of the 5000K was nearly 6200K.
That would be an instatenous no from me.
I thought they were using 519a
Everybody did and they knew that, but were seemingly willing launch without making it clear they changed the emitters. They also knew about the flickering moonlight according to the FAQ at the bottom of the page.
Honestly, if 519As were too expensive, they could have gotten a high CRI 3535 CN LED made, or heck, maybe even a 3/6V 7070 LED with similar chadacteristics to 519As.
Wurkkos often lacks clear info which emitter is used… It should be main info in specs.
moonlight flicker is normal what ? There should be 2 tints one coolwhite and one a little neutral or warmer tint.
This light went from insta buy dream light to wait and see with this info… I know what to expect from 519a and I know I can dedome them if the light is too cold/green for my liking. With these mystery LEDs with unknown CCT or tint and no way to make them warmer and less green if needed I’ll wait for at least a couple reviews testing the light quality.
Pretty ugly move to swap the emitters without clear information. Especially with specs so close to the TS26S it’s really easy to overlook. Welp, one less light to burden the wallet
