Ok, BLFers, i bet all of you like SBT90.2 as this LED is certainly the best LED to impress people. It combines super throw with really high brightness.
I consider Wurkkos TS30S SBT90.2 to be the flashlight that definitely costs each dollar spent. And below are reasons.

Package and appearance
Design of Wurkkos packages now is good, almost at the level of big expensive brands. So if you look for flashlight to give away as a gift, you may not wrap it now to hide poor yellow-white or plain brown cardboard box))
The box itself is thick-walled, without any inscriptions. The flashlight and the rest of kit lie Inside in thick foam rubber.
The kit includes everything you need (traditionally, besides holster). Wurkkos TS30S itself with a 5000mah 21700 battery, a good soft Type-C charging cable, a lanyard and a pair of o-rings, a manual.
And here is the flashlight! Length of Wurkkos TS30S is quite similar to some ordinary medium-sized long-range flashlight like well known Sofirn C8G, but TS30S head is significantly larger.
However, 61mm diameter of the head seems large only in comparison with such a compact classic model. But when compared to something like the Nitecore P30i with its 65mm head diameter, Wurkkos TS30S Pro will look completely different.
Wurkkos TS30S Pro on the left, Sofirn C8G on the right
I think Wurkkos TS30S Pro looks fantastic. Matte anodizing, deep cooling fins, fantastically tenacious knurling - all this will surely appeal to male`s eyes.
By the way, once again I was convinced that matte anodizing is much more attractive than glossy.

I would get rid of these U-shaped arch on the tailcap, i bet that is possible to drill a hole for lanyard directly in the edge if the tailcap and save 5-7mm of length.
As usual, the flashlight can be disassembled into three parts
Overall machining is good, threads are well lubricated.
The knurling, as you can see, is super grippy, I think the Wurkkos got it from the Olight Javelot Pro. The flashlight fits the hand like a glove.
below is Olight Javelot Pro
and here is Wurkkos TS30S Pro
The difference with the classic knurling of the ;same Sofirn C8G is obvious
There is a spring only at the side of the tailcap, and a contact pad at the head. This is reasonable due to the high currents that this LED consumes.
Again, the head of Wurkkos TS30S Pro is quite massive, but it is quite commensurate with the overall dimensions of the body. Again, 61mm of a head diameter is not that much, there are lots of flashlight with similar size of head.
Here is Astolux FT03 for example
And, unlike a lot of other models, Wurkkos TS30S Pro has excellent finning, not just a useless design feature.
The button is wide, elastic and comfortable. Easy to blind find, since it lies on a wide flat area.
As you may have already figured out for yourself, the convenience of a button does not end there. Another advantage is its gorgeous backlit ilumination. Thanks to the Anduril 2 interface, this illumination can be easily adjusted in terms of brightness, mode (blinking, constant light, color change) and color. By the way, you can even estimate the battery voltage by color!

As usual, there is a charging connector at the opposite side from the button. The cap is thick and tight.
3A is an excellent charging current, it works in both directions and if it catches on, the flashlight will be able to recharge your phone. Judging by the comments, this is fundamentally important for some people. BTW, in lots of situations ive seen only 5V2A. I really have no explanation. I havent still figured out situations when i noticed 2A and 3A. Ive seen them both. Anyway, even 2A is OK.
Medium wide teeth bezel
Below it lies a relatively large, smooth reflector, at the bottom of which is the most impressive LED to date, His Majesty Luminus SBT90.2.
and that’s all. The flashlight looks amazing, fits comfortably and securely in the hand. It charges quickly and its button can be easily accessed.
UI
Super-flexible Anduril 2 is divided into basic and advanced parts.
The first repeats the interface that is widely known and used in many flashlights, which has absolutely everything for normal use. There is only no strobe, but do you need one?
hold from OFF - first mode (aka firefly)
1 click - ON/OFF
2 clicks - maximum 8th mode.
3 clicks - switching between steppless and stepped brightness adjustments
4 clicks - electronic lock/unlock. When holding the button during blocking, the 1st mode works
Switch modes - button hold
Well, if you dare (you will as soon as you are BLFer), you can switch to advanced mode and play enough with everything that Anduril gives you. And he gives in general everything that the soul of an advanced user desires. The full size diagram can be downloaded here.
How Wurkkos TS30S Pro illuminates
Of course, you should not expect a long time in 8/8 maximum mode. The Luminus SBT90.2 is a very hot LED and heats up the flashlight body really fast. And it is extremely demanding on the current output of the battery.
Important! #1
Battery from kit has worse power output comparing to well known Samsung 40t. So the maximum brightness between them will differ by 10-15%. And it’s not so bad. ~5% less bright in 7\8 mode and totally the same in the rest of modes.
The brightness and range with battery from kit is enough for your eyes, and, actually lower brightness will mean less heat and longer runtime. And, well, 10-15% difference comparing to one of the very high drain battery is not bad!
Important! #2
Ah,BTW I`ve seen reviews claiming 8\8 to be far away less then stated 6000lums. I dont have an expensive integration spheres to measure output. But definetely can measure that 8\8 is 3 time brighter then 7\8. And other modes are also refers to each other as promised in specification. 7\8 mode is definetely looks not less bright then turbo of Sofirn C8G SST40, and this turbo mode is little bit less 2000lumens. So i really believe that turbo mode of Wurkkos TS30S is ~6000lumens as possible with Samsung 40T.
7\8 mode is mode that Wurkos TS30S Pro copes with easily. Thanks to the massive head and ribs. This is definitely a serious brightness and the flashlight will work on it for a really long time. In this case, everything is determined by the temperature. So you can meet longer or shorter runtime.
For example, I measured only 30 second when turned it on indoor and 6 minutes when outdoor. But then i added some fan coling (in outdoor as well) and…look at the first graph. BTW Samsung 40T wins in brightness only at the very beginning. Then 21700 from is better due to the increase in capacity and runtime.
6\8 is the first of some truly long-throw modes and the flashlight works at this level for a really long time. Very. And there is no difference in brightness bettwen 40T and battery from kit.
Well, 5/8 is enough for you for the whole night. BTW, runtime that i measured is longer then stated in spec.
OMG, color temperature (at least for the copy that fell into my hands) of the SBT90.2 LED in Wurkkos TS30S Pro turned out to be 5000K against declared 5700K. This is very good. For those who dont know - colder the light, more it reflects any dust and moisture in the air, which is clearly not a good for throw. True, such colder light LEDs are slightly brighter. By the way, almost any major manufacturer will sacrifice convinience and logic of use to add a couple of hundred extra lumens in the specification and promo pics. it was surprisingly often that I met cold light in long-range models, for which warmer light bin was also easily available.
Well, the most interesting, what is the Wurkkos TS30S Pro capable of in matter of throw?
The first 4 modes are suitable only within fifty meters, 5/8 can reach that way for a hundred meters. Look at GIFs and pics, you can see that the trees are highlighted at this level

There is nothing wrong with this, they may well come in handy when working in some large room like hangar18, where working in higher modes will simply dazzle with reflected light. And Dave`n Marty will not be happy as well.
And, as I said above, the real throw starts from the 6th mode ~ 500lum. With it, you can already highlight something at a distance of a couple of hundred meters, and a flashlight can work on it all night without a break.

7\8 mode (declared 1900 lum is also interesting). Again, this brightness is similar to the maximum for the most popular long-range flashlight Sofirn C8G. And due to its compactness, the C8G keeps this brightness when cooled for only 3 minutes, then the brightness will decrease by 1/4 and go to a stabilized level.
But Wurkkos TS30S Pro allows you to work on these conditional 2000lum for a really long time. Very. Of course, I repeat, cooling plays a significant role here. It is quite possible that somewhere near Trondheim or Siberia, brightness in this mode will not fall at all. And the turbo will last much, much longer.
So, in addition to the difference in runtime, the difference in light distribution is also clearly visible (and the color temperature too). The light of the Wurkkos TS30S Pro is noticeablywarmer and more focused.

350-450m is just the limit for Sofirn C8G. However, in most normal situations, you do not have to shine at this distance, let’s look at things soberly. But Wurkkos TS30S Pro SBT90.2 copes with this distance easily.

The distance is actually 450m to house on GIF below. But I once wrote 400 by mistake and continued to do so. In order not to produce questions, I left this figure as it is. And I’m just clarifying here in the text.

Well, at distances over 500m you have to rely only on 8/8. No, that’s not 7/8 is also useless here, but 8\8 is really good.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
Wurkkos TS30S Pro did not disappoint me. I think that in terms of price and functionality, this is a very well balanced model. It perfectly does everything for which it is intended - to give you both serious brightness and throw at the same time.
The list of everything that I like about Wurkkos TS30S Pro is quite long. The flashlight has good packaging and a chic, impressively brutal appearance. In this regard, the flashlight is definitely suitable as a gift that will impress even before it is turned on.
Yes, this is not a compact flashlight, you won’t be able to just carry it on your pocket like it was possible with the same Lumintop FW9XL. But a larger size also means a significantly greater range and runtime time at higher brightnesses. And these are exactly reasons you are buying a flashlight with a super-powerful and penetrating SBT90.2 LED for, isn’t it?
Anduril 2.0 - perfect UI. It is the same as well known Sofirn\Olight UI in simple mode, and gives easy and convenient access to everything you need. An ordinary user here will not feel any inconvenience at all. And an experienced user can switch to advanced mode and get access to everything in general that is possible. There is no chance to occasionally switch between them. Here it is worth noting the chic-looking and customizable backlight of the button itself.
Charging is fast and works both ways.
21700 battery means long runtime even with a power hungry LED like the SBT90.2. However, it is necessary to prioritize. If it is more important for you to squeeze out all possible brightness, then it is better to use the obviously extremely high-current Samsung T40. If you need more runtime, then you can give up a some brightness and use the battery from kit.
Luminus SBT90.2 LED in my copy turned out to be fantastically good in terms of color temperature, I did not expect 5000K at all! It’s very, very good from a range standpoint. And what about range - the flashlight is all right here. It definitely gives visible light at a distance of 750m. I have every reason to believe in the 1 km range declared by the manufacturer. Of course, the flashlight will not work for long at this level. But you will definitely have time to see everything you need even with a “hot start” from some higher mode. However, here a lot depends on the air temperature and the presence of wind. But Anduril, by the way, makes it possible to raise the thermal cutoff threshold.
By the way, the same older 7/8 mode is comparable in brightness to the turbo mode for Sofirn C8G, but it will shine further and work noticeably longer. And the 5th mode will allow you to somehow, but break through a couple of hundred meters and it will work for almost 20 hours!
To be honest, I do not see any disadvantages. Wurkkos TS30S Pro will allow you to work with confidence within a distance of 300m on modes 6 and 7. And it will shine like a real spotlight at maximum brightness, .
However, let’s be honest. If you do not need to illuminate further than 200-300m, then Wurkkos TS30S is an excessive flashlight, it makes more sense to take the much more compact and affordable Sofirn S8G. But if you need WOW or a huge supply of search light, both wide and long-range at the same time, then Wurkkos TS30S pro will give you this light without punching a hole in your wallet. The only thing I advise you to immediately take a spare battery with you. The LED, after all, is consumes a lot on most impressive modes.
