My latest pocket-rocket is a Sunwayman C10r purchased on clearance from Illumn and then heavily modded by me:
 photo 20160412_095743_resized_1.jpg

  • Emitter: Triple XPL HI (2×5000K and 1×4000K)
  • Driver Wires: 22 AWG silicone
  • Electronic Switch wire: 26 AWG Teflon
  • Driver: 17mm FET driver from MtnElectronics with moppydrv e-switch firmware.
  • Battery spring bypass wire: None. The modded light has no battery springs. Instead flat copper disks fixed to each end of the battery tube serve as the contacts. This is somewhat similar to how the battery tube in the DQG Tiny III and IV work but without as much range. There is almost no empty space in the battery compartment when the battery is installed.
  • Battery type: Efest purple 1000mAh IMR 18500 (flat top). The unmodded light used 1xCR123. I bored out the battery tube so it would fit a wider 18500 and freed up extra space in the head for the longer cell by mounting the new driver ahead of the LED platform in the head. This is made possible because the triple optic is thinner than the original aluminum reflector. The switch mechanism is now mounted in the side of the battery compartment. The battery slides below the switch. In my experience IMR 18500 cells provide far more power than any IMR 16340 or 18350. On a fresh cell, output resembles that of a triple powered by a Samsung 30Q 18650 cell, though voltage declines faster.
  • Optic: Carclo 10507

The entire light is about 77mm long. It would be possible to make a shorter light using the same internals, but this host has some wasted space at the tail (screw mounting for camera tripod) and head (inset bezel)

Nice work and thanks for the readings.

My current and or voltage measurements are only relevent to anything that I measure.

For all my 16340 lights I’m using that same yellow AWT IMR16340 550mAh. Love it.

Thanks mate. The thread used to be something else but there was not much interest so I changed it to a links repository of my stuff for posterity.

I use a mix of aqua glow powder & silicone or resin, also the glow tape can be useful for sticking to the inside of the flashlight head.

Ahh, I was wondering how I could have missed it. I’m glad you took the time to put all these in one spot. I had missed a bunch of these.

I don’t have all the lights as some have been given away or were other peoples but here is most of what I have to hand.

I not long ago foam lined this plastic case for keeping most of my titanium & steel EDC lights convenient

.

Others are dotted around the place stuck to radiators, fridges, on shelves, under shelves, cupboards etc.
I keep a couple in my magnetic handy box I made 25 years ago at school Smile . The DQG XHP50 gets used a lot, one of my favorites

.

My Permanent EDC, pretty much always on me

.

Bonus answer, some of my knives Wink

.

(If you counted all the lights in the first picture, you’re a true flashaholic) Big Smile

May I know where did you get this case and how much did you pay for it? It looks pretty nice and can be used for storing flashlights too.

I bought it on *bay for about £12. Search for pistol cases. I lined it with neoprene foam and made the shelf from plyboard & 1” elastic webbing. Think that’s a 14 inch case, the small one is about 10 inch, usually come with that eggbox shaped foam.
The better ones have the sliding locks as opposed to the click down type or there are nice aluminium types.
