There are many ways.

If the multi-color configuration is set in stone {Sigh! Crying } how is it that the photos show the aux lights in different states? Like all-red? Or only blue and purple? Please don’t tell us it’s constantly rotating between colors! Facepalm

If I understood the description correctly, aux lights are like voltage indicators. Green is only on with max voltage. Each color shuts off as voltage gets lower, until red aux comes on at low voltage.

The switch is still green. If you don’t like the green aux lights you probably won’t like the switch. I think the green aux will tie it all together nicely. I went with silver because I thought most colors would clash with the Green switch.

I looked at this picture a bit closer.

It seems green, blue and pink are on when the voltage is 4.2v-3.9v.

Blue and pink only are on from 3.9v-3.3v.

From 3.3v-2.9v all those colors turn off and only the red are on.

Below 2.9v they all turn off.

Unpopular opinion, I like the design of color changing with the voltage.

I don’t think anyone minds the color change in relation to voltage, it’s just the color palette. Green kind of clashes.

According to this Chinese review, the 95cri 4000k version does only 10k lumens. That 66% of 15.3k which is what the 6500k does. Toykeepers 4000k did 13.9k so it seems a bit strange. Maybe his device used for measuring is more sensetive to blue light which makes the 4000k look worse. Dunno.. I guess we’ll have to wait for more reviews to confirm this.

Was just looking at the graphs for the 5000k version on page 3. Am I reading this correctly? Ra=89.9 at 14,298lm on high
But then falls to Ra=68.7 at 34lm on low

Look at the R9. Drops from 86 to 0. I don’t think this is normal.

Good catch. Same on the next graph, medium mode ~6000lm. R9=0 still

At the full output, 10,059 lumens, it measures CCT of 4339K and a calculated DUV of -0.0053. If that is true, this would be more like a FA1 tint bin. Super rosy and the 4300K color temp. It would be near identical to the 219B 4500K 9080!

At 23.7 lumens, it measures CCT of 4051K and a calculated DUV of 0.0012

At 4,009 lumens, it measures CCT of 4136K and a calculated DUV of -0.002

Given these values, it seems like Mateminco is really using the FA3 tint bin in this light instead of the FD2 since FD2 is below 4000K and FA3 is above 4000K. Since they are supposed to have only 1,000 of these emitters, they should only be able to make about 50 before they have to switch to the FD2 tint bin, which is also not a bad tint per my test with the FW3A.

Clearly hotlinking images from that site isn't gelling with BLF.

I see three of these:

blank

If you want everyone on BLF to see the images that you post, don't hotlink from that site.

Hotlinks should work if you look at the 50 pictures in that scrolling page, right click an image and view it full screen. Then use that url.

Can you guys see these 4 pics?

And I'm not using a VPN right now, so the problem is hotlinking images from that site.

Yes, they’ve obviously added some rewrite rules to the web server’s .htaccess file. Nothing you can do, other than DL the images and host them somewhere else.

You don’t need to DL them, just copy/paste the image’s URL in imgur if you don’t use the plugin.

Good thinking, that should also help avoid losing quality in case imgur uses a compression algorithm like e.g. Facebook and other sites.

Tbh I’m pretty obsessive and I don’t normally upload an image without making at least some kind of alterations (crop, curves adjustments etc.) and then saving it as .png, so I don’t think I’ve ever uploaded straight to imgur from a URL! Smile

Here’s another review. It has beamshots of the M43, nichia MF01, newer modified nichia MF01 (i think), MF01s and some throwers. For some reason it doesn’t look purple or red…it’s pink.

Here are some points:

MF01 head works on the MF01S body but not vice versa as the spring is thicker so the negative contact won’t touch… something like that anyway.

Quite a bit more throw..we knew that anyway

Ceiling Bounce
Nichia MF01…….34
6500K MF01S…..85
