So far, what I like the most about it is the beautiful white beam.

My most interesting discoveries with the UV at home is the compact fluorescents glow red and the LED house lights glow blue.

The green Palmolive dish soap glows a ghostly green.

The 395nm UV also makes it easy to verify a legitimate IL driver’s license.

Detergent residue is on almost every wall.

LB, Man! You can write a review! It just increased my anticipation for mine to arrive!

I really like that the charge rate is one of the best for the USB rechargeables I've tested,  ie.:

The cut-off voltage was 4.15V. It slowly ramped down the charge current before it terminated.  I then dropped it in the Opus and added a few more mAh, ie:

This is going to be fun to have... at least until the next whizbang contraption comes out!

1.4A charging, and 4.15V cutoff? Nice!

I’d rather charge to slightly less rather than over, so that suits me just fine.

It’s not available anymore.

I can stop playing with it whenever I want to. I just don’t want to stop right now. No, really. I can stop anytime.

The red and white strobe alone makes the purchase worthwhile in my opinion. Overall, yes this is a very enjoyable and useful light.
I’m happy to own one.

There didn’t seem to be very many available at Amazon, I wonder if this was a test batch, to see how sales would go.

Any idea if it would fit a protected 26650 such as the keeppower 5200?

Pretty sure any 26650 will fit. There are springs on both ends and each spring can compress about 1/4”.
For eaxmple- if I remove the tailcap, the battery is already below the end of the tube and can be pressed down about 1/4” deeper, if I unscrew the head, the battery is below the the tube and can again be pressed down about 1/4”
Lots of room for long batteries.

Thanks!  I've stopped purchasing lights for a long time now unless something different comes along and this one fits the bill.  Wish they would have gone with a deeper red, but 720nm isn't too bad.  I even find the 730nm on my x80 a little on the orange side.

I was going to order a second, but they’re out of stock.

Bummer.

I’ve decided that my wife probably won’t get this one, though she can be pretty persuasive and, sometimes even scary, when she wants something. I may have to use the police strobe on her.

Hope more come in soon, before people lose interest. Shocked

Talk about eerie… First cell clocked in at 5380mAH, second at 5378mAH, only 2mAH off!

(Or was it 5376? Either way, really close.)

I saw ,I believe, 2 days ago on the Amazon link to WK30 that they expected more stock first week of August. The 4th 6th is what I think it said. So don’t give up yet. Thumbs Up

I’ve only been whining coz I wanted it by my birthday . Yeh, I’m spoiled ain’t I? Silly

I can confirm that the battery that comes with Thrunite’s TC20 and Catapult V6 do fit and work in it even though the Thrunite batteries are protected and longer. The reverse worked too, the short Wurkkos marked battery worked in the TC20. ( after I figured out I was accidentally trying to put the wrong flashlights tailcap on.)

Just sharing an observation here- I have the WK30 and I have a Convoy S2+ UV Nichia 365nm, and there is a very big difference between the two. My Convoy UV light is more aqua blue compared to the very purple WK30 and it lights up a lot more stuff than the WK30. For example, looking on the wall near a light switch, the Convoy shows a perfect hand print, most likely from one of my grandsons (no idea what he had on his hands) but the WK30 shows nothing.
I really like the WK30, but I’m planning to change the emitter to the Nichia LED used in the Convoy.

Did you have the WK30 on the high output when doing that comparison?

Okay.

With your observations, maybe I won’t get a 2nd WK30 for my wife to use in our other house to find cat urine. Sounds like the Convoy S2+ is a better option.

I mostly find detergent residue with my WK30. Doesn’t even pick up drool on my bed pillow.
