@komeko, you should have went with an XHP70 90CRI shaved.
From Zak Wilson’s experience, it looks absolutely gorgeous, even better than the MT G2 by a mile.

I have an ordinary 70.2 shaved and it is yellow for pain. I was looking for 5000K with a high CRI but no one is on sale. At the moment TC20 with MT-G2 satisfies me 100%.
There is an XHP70 90CRI at Arrow which looks amazing shaved and sanded.
One day, you should try it
But there is no 5000K version
Isn’t 4500k good though? Not as white as 5000k, but still pretty close:

But it will happen …
He is waiting for the arrival of three new flashlights and as I will compare and measure them. These will be MT07S HI, Catapult V6 and GT Mini. For comparison, I will add UT02 after modifications after which it reached over 1,700 lumens. Of course, all versions are NW.
A few new pics because Thrunite V6 joined the family. I like it very much. Waiting now for MiniGT and maybe TN42?
Nice set up. At least you have high powered lights, None of the store bought stuff. I have stock UT02. What do I need to ramp it up to your lumen count because throw distance is pretty good.
UT02 nicely undergoes simple modifications by changing the resistor. Thanks to this, it shows a completely different class.
How to? I am very new to modifications and flashlight collecting all together.

Mind I ask what you used to pop the driver off the head? I tried using with a angled punch but can’t pop it off. Didn’t want to force coz I’m afraid to break something in there. Thanks
The driver is glued and sits firmly. I was tiring a bit, but finally I pushed through the opening from the switch. Use a wooden stick.

Thank you
Nice . All side button?
In addition to Maglite, because it turns on by turning. I do not like rear switches. The family will grow by D4s
Nice collection. You collect flashlights only with an electronic switch, or could it also be reverse clicky? Of course from the side.
I have a few points that decide to buy a given flashlight.
TN42, TN40 is on the waiting list, and maybe … ROT66 but there are too many complaints. As soon as all defects are eliminated then maybe.
I am asking because I think that Solarforce L2D with L2T head and flat SS bezel would fit to this family.
