Dear Elie.

No, I can not make a decision because they are inacceptable!

they are uselessness. With them always I lose money when the problem is caused by you.

to solve this problem is very easy. You must to send the full order or the flashlight. If you say me that the flashlight is Out stock, I don’t know if I believe you but I can wait to the stock become OK.

Thanks.

Dear Javier,

Thank you very much for your recent message.

If you want us resend another new one, you should pay extra 15.00usd to us. I’m so sorry we can’t resend to you again and again with free.
Thank you for your understanding.

If any problem, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,
Elie

Shocked really? is this a joke?? absolutelly unbelievable! 15$ more??? I don’t pay a penny more and I don’t know what to say to Elie without kill her….
Can I tell you that you are contributing to your problem? You dont mean that Im sure but you are regardless. Its easy, stop asking for the flashlight, they dont have them and thats highly unlikely to be a lie. What you want is a refund, and for them to arrange and pay for return of their goods they sent instead of the item you bought.

Tell them you ordered a flashlight, and they have not sent one. And thats it, dont keep adding words, dont accuse them, or berate them, its foolish to do so. Your English is not great (you get by with English speakers), and it complicates their translation service as they dont speak English well either.

Your error was letting it go past the PayPal deadline. If you explained to Paypal that Gearbest never sent what you purchased, there would be no question about their responsibility to refund, and arrange and pay for the return of their items. In the end, you might be stiff out of luck.

Stick to basic facts, nothing more…
Hi, I did not receive the item I have ordered despite several attempts. I have paid for that item but you have not sent that item and to make matters worse you have sent the wrong items several times now. As you have stated to me that the item I have paid for is no longer in stock I demand a refund of my money. I do not want store credit. As the mistake is yours and not mine, I am happy to return all wrong items delivered provided GearBest pays for that return postage. It is not my mistake, and I can not be expected to pay for it.

Have you tried to talk with the GearBest CS person that responded to this thread?

Yes, you say the true but this I asked long time ago… but allways the same. “If you want the money, you must send us all items and you pay the shipping cost” so What can I do?? I tried…. I prefer the money that the flashlight because I don’t need it now. But always the same, only 2 options: 20$ coupon or I pay the shipping.

And yes, Gearbest Cs sent me a message yesterday ask me by the order number. I gave to him but nothing more, I am waiting the reply.

Have to agree with Ejected Filament. It can be hard to communicate with chinese seller, you never know how good their english is or if your messages are set through a translation service. When talking directly to a chinese seller about a problem I almost always break it up into short & simple sentences. Often I go even more simple than Ejected Filament.
This would be the type of thing I might write.
You sent the wrong item. I want a refund. I do not want store credit. I will return the wrong items if GearBest pays for return shipping. I will not pay for return shipping.

If they respond with anything other than a refund then I just repeat the parts needed.
You sent the wrong item. I will not pay for return shipping. I will return the wrong items if GearBest pays for return shipping.

At this point just talk to the “GearBest CS” BLF member. They are your best chance to get a refund now.

Yes, you have not helped the problem very much. Many people just make it worse. Many people are used to buying retail and buying local. They expect this China buying to be the same. It's not gearbest. It's all of the sellers. Just look back in the forums over the years and you see the same for just about every single seller that has ever been here. It's been said over and over again. It's old news. If you buy from China, then buyer beware. Simple as that. You may have a good experience or you may have a bad one. but Always use PayPal's protection to make sure you get a refund. If you do not do that, then don't berate the seller when you go past the paypal time limit.

Sorry, that is the way it is and this whole thing has been done before so many times. A little searching would have shown you many threads berating many sellers already, with no resolution to most all of the problems.

Also, many people, including me, will say how bad a seller is, but if the price is right, we all will still buy from them. That is also the way it is and always has been.

Paypa only quite recently extended their coverage from 45 days to 180 days I believe.

If he ordered last year, then this new policy might not have been active yet.

Paypal still has not updated their claim deadline from the initial 45-day window:

I was recently bit by this as well, when an eBay seller did not ship the product I paid for. |(

mmmm I don’t know in others countries but I now have read a new Paypal’s service. He says this:

“we repay you the return cost.
Sometimes, we buy something online and, when we receive it, we realize that it isn’t exactly as expected.
¡nothing happens! If you have paid by Paypal, you can return it without worrying about shipping: the return is on us*. The service is free, and also applies to international shipments”

(“Te reembolsamos los gastos de devolución.
A veces, compramos algo en Internet y, cuando lo recibimos, nos damos cuenta de que no es exactamente como esperábamos. ¡No pasa nada! Si has pagado con PayPal, puedes devolverlo sin preocuparte por los gastos de envío: la devolución corre de nuestra cuenta*. El servicio es gratuito, y se aplica también a envíos internacionales.”)

MMMMMmmm interesting… :~

I have had problems a couple of times with stuff missing when buying from China – but after notifying – being told to send pic – they have always solved the problem – after 30 plus 30 days or so I end up a reasonably happy customer reasoning if the price is right and time is not a concern I continue buying from China.

Dear Javier, Firstly, please accept my sincere and unreserved apology on GearBest’s behalf for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
If I were in your shoes, I’m sure I’d feel just as you do.

Normally, we can only send you the missing accessory. But regarding the mistakes and inconvenience this may have caused you.
I will apply to resend a new “UltraFire HD-16 Cree XM-L L2 2400lm LED White Bicycle Headlight” as a proof of good will. Hope you can understand and support us in the future.

I will email you tomorrow about the time when we will receive this item from factory and send this to you.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Hetty

Shocked   so… Now I must to wait to receive the full order and I hope that we will solve the problem because I don’t want more headband… ahahah

CSgearbest, sounds like you might have misunderstood, just to be clear, the headlight was missing.

Mafo received:
Head strap
O-Rings
AC Charger

Mafo Did Not receive:
Headlight

But as long as Gearbest is sending an entire new “UltraFire HD-16 Cree XM-L L2 2400lm LED White Bicycle Headlight” I guess it doesn’t matter if you understand exactly what happened. :~

Not taking anything from the OP, but kind of suxs that the OP only registered to post his grief here. Granted that we have been informed (once again) of the problems associated with online Chinese website shopping. Kind of benefited him and hope he does stick around for more constructive posts/contribution.

Note: This is my opinion and you are free to disagree.

We all have our reasons for how/why we ended up at BLF. Wink

But, I do agree that it sucks that this is the way he had to find us.

Mafo, I hope you do stick around and get to experience the positive side of (Chinese) budget lights! Party

well well well….

What mean OP??

I haven’t left us yet xD I published in this forum by recomendation in the same post but of the official light forum in my country “www.forolinternas.com”. At other times in this website I have read messages or full post to help me and maybe if I published my story, you will help me or good advices…(and I was right) or just I warn to you (above all news lights customers about gearbest’s CS) so Why not do it? I’m fighting alone 6 long months…

but until I don’t solve my problem I won’t leave us of course. but I will never leave because I am sure that when I need help with my light (“UINFIRE B68” “SunwayMan C15A” & “Unique fire HD-016”) I must to come back (and to improve my english too)

The next month if I receive another box without flashlight, I will cry, or laugh, I’m not sure ahaha. I hate the headbands.

OP is original poster, the person that started the thread (conversation) or Original Post, the first post in this thread. Heres hoping you do get your light.

I assume the message was via a PM fro the Gearbest CS here, or was it someone else?

For Mafo’s issue, firstly I wish to apologize for any inconvenience caused on GearBest’s behalf. We are supposed to solve this problem for Mafo last few months ago. Secondly, I also hope that it can be clear that GearBest customer service has been taking actions to solve it even though some misunderstandings in the two reshipment. This effort can’t be ignored.

GearBest is not perfect. You are welcomed to give feedback to support.gearbest.com. It is always trying to improve its service with continuous problem-solving and customers’ feedback.
