I ordered a NW kit, too bad I entered my address incorrectly. Not sure if I did it or the website glitched. It ended up being a mix of my billing and shipping addresses. I contacted Lumintop via their message feature with the correct address. I hope it makes it to me lol.

Contact Leo@lumintop.com and he should be able to correct it.

I also just ordered the NW kit.

The website is pretty crappy. I’m hoping the correct address comes through. I entered it twice, but it shows up incomplete on the order site.
Also after entering the discount code and hitting return on my Ipad, it instantly placed an order (without the discount). Fortunately I could cancel the incorrect order on the website.

Hope all goes well and I have a nice superthrower soon!! Thanks for the groupbuy TA Thumbs Up

Edit: All the correct address info is in the confirmation email. Just not in the correct order, but I think the mailman wil sort it out Big Smile

Leo has been doing pretty good at dealing with issues so far, he will get you taken care of.

The website has issues for sure. I hope next time to use another distribution option but still, the lumintop site is 100x better then how the first GT group buy went down!

I just placed my order for the BLF GT70 (NW), 8 batteries, and shoulder strap + lens cover.

The order detail showed a total amount of $290.00 without showing the itemized price for each item.

The $290.00 appears to be the bundle price for the BLF GT70 + 8 batteries + shoulder strap + lens cover.

That is a strange price, without seeing the breakdown of the order it is hard to say why it is that price. I would check the confirmation email, it apparently has more details about the order.

I just noticed what’s wrong with my order.
The receipt says BLF GT instead of BLF GT70.
Now I have to go through the motion of cancelling the order.

After a couple of weeks with my GT70, I can say that I’m 99% happy with this monster. The minus 1% is due to the lanyard holes do not line up. Not the end of the world. It is heavy and I need to get a shoulder strap for it. Any recommendations?
You do know that the tail lanyard hole is on a ring that can rotate, although somewhat stiff?

Mine was really stiff, but I was able to get it to line up after messing around with it for a while to break it loose. I appreciate the help!

Edit: I took the tailcap apart and lubed it up. The ring now rotates freely. I’m a happy camper now Smile

Thanks,

so this is only a coupler, so I need this coupler and an extension tube.
together about 60$.
too much for me… at the moment…

EDIT:

I´ve bought one short body tube at B……d with discount code…

Maybe there is the tailcap available as sparepart.
I wrote Email to Lumintop.
So my colleague could easily lathing a coupler.

Alternative he can drill the internal diameter of long tube up to 47mm.
and drill down the outer diameter of the short body tube to 47,05mm, so I can press-fitting them together…

I was so excited to place my order for the BLF GT70 (NW) that I didn’t look carefully on the item description.

The error happened after I signed in on the Lumintop website, the page changed from the link provided by Texas_Ace to the store’s homepage. I searched products and saw the BLF GT. That was my mistake.

I sent message to Lumintop to cancel my order of the wrong item and quickly received this response,

Quote:
Okay, will cancel the order for you, the refund will arrange within two working days. Thanks again Wednesday, 12 September 2018

I went back to Texas_Ace message and click the link and was brought back to the correct product. I should have signed in first on my Lumintop account before clicking on Texas_Ace link so that I would have been signed in already when the link sent me to Lumintop web store. Placed another order and carefully looked at the item description and I think got it right this time.

Thank you, teacher.

I also want to thank Texas_Ace. His comment about the ($290) price made me look again at my order receipt and realized the mistake.

Lumintop customer service regarding my mistake was excellent. When I informed them about my mistake, they quickly responded with a message that the wrong order will be cancelled and refund will be arranged in two days.

I’m happy. Big Smile

Yes, Lumintop is working hard to not repeat the mistakes of the first group buy.

This one is moving much smoother due to learning from those mistakes.

If you find one in the EU, plz post here!

I would also like to see some beam-shots of XHP70.2s with 3000K or 2700K… if someone has a link? Couldn’t find anything…
80CRI would be OK, I think. 90CRI would mean loosing too much lumens….

Maybe I buy a change kit and try to open one of my GTs…
If I would have to swap the LED anyway, let’s get some really warm light color Cool …. I don’t want to use the greenish NW stock version, when even my CW GT70 has a more neutral tint…

I bet someone else can find a better option on aliexpress or something but here is KD’s 4000k: http://kaidomain.com/Cree-XHP70_2-P2-3C-Neutral-White-5000K-LED-Emitter?search=xhp70.2

It is a 5C so it will have some green in the tint though.

For the USA there is this 4000k P2 that I have used in the past. : https://octopart.com/search?q=XHP70B-00-0000-0D0BP240E&start=0

The first place I look is MTN Electronics since he’s in the US and shipping is fast. He does have a 4000K, but I’m not sure of the tint code. You might ask him.

Yep, for those in the USA MTN always has some good LED’s as well and you can add some other flashlight stuff to the order while you are there along with supporting the BLF family.
