Jeansy, I have just seen your post... so old4570 pretty much has to do the drawing now... even if Mr. Admin would respond to my PM... a little very last minute... but it will work out.... I hope.... I am not a big fan of changing the rules along the way... a heads up would have been nice..

You have chosen to ignore several of my posts and it was posted whilst you were online last time, if you really don't like it delete my entry, I'm not that bothered but I entered in good faith rather than using 7% codes. I am not overly thrilled about trusting someone I don't know to do it, I assume you havebeen PMing old4570?

My lottery suggestion seems fairer and transparent but you also ignored this. I shall not partake next time don't worry...

Yeah, I PMed old4570 as a backup in case Mr.Admin didn't see my PM in time. We can do the next raffle round your way, if everybody agrees. I think there were still some open questions about your way to do the raffle. I wrote you a PM to explain it better... I hope there are no hard feelings. From my personal point of view it is absolutely OK and a good idea to include Mr. Admin even it is very last minute... I just hope that everybody feels the same...

PM replied, no hard feelings. Maybe if more was discussed in open on the forum as opposed to PMs I would have seen the progress you had made and not interfered. If anyone else disagrees please say so and I will remove one entry (my personal one)

I kind of had to PM them to make sure they see it (and I see the responses).... I have turned off thread notification emails because of all the spamming.

I'm opposed to tossing Mr admin. into the drawing last minute ...just on principle .it wasn't discussed and   jeansy isn't the only one with multiple orders here ... i think just because no one didn't disagree  that doesn't allow people to change the rules in the middle of the game .there is another giveaway coming up right after this one ..feel free to add Mr.Admin. to that one .

Why dont you ask him first?  What if he wins and says he doesnt want the prize?  I offered Admin my last DD giftcard before I gave it away here, Mr Admin didnt even want it.

And make it transparent no PMs about what youre doing...if you want...

I have removed my entry then and left the one for mr Admin, I believe that is my right. Indeed, I feel bad now as mr admin has not even asked or ever asks for anything from the members here! And I'm sure he wouldn't of wanted to be the cause of any controversy. As to the further question and he doesn't want it, I'll donate it to another user that will likely do a little review and contribute to the forum, I want no part of it after this

That's kind of hard to guarantee to hear back from him in time, now. This is what I meant that it is a little too last minute for my taste. Jeansy's heart was in the right place and he wanted to make a nice gesture for BLF and Mr.Admin. Next time I will make sure everything is set in stone before we start, this is the 1st raffle that I'm organizing... so I hope everybody is still OK how everything works out... I am still learning. Jeansy now only has one entry and gives it away as price to Mr. Admin in case he wins... I think everybody can live with that? Good luck to everybody.

Hi Xatu and Cheapthrills,

I have seen that you entered in the raffle with orders that lay outside the first pot of $100 commission money, so your order would be eligible for the 2nd round raffle (100-200$ commission) but not the first one. Could you remove your entries from the 1st raffle thread? I will PM you again when the 2nd raffle round starts (we are currently at $21.14 for the 2nd round) so you can enter again with your already made purchases. If you still have questions, or suggestions how to make the rules more clear to everybody.... don't hesitate to contact me via PM or in this thread.

No problem CheapThrills. Wink

We are now complete and the deadline for participation is reached.

We have 29 legal contestants. (Xatu can't participate in this round, but the next one).

So Jeansy's entry gets number 29 instead of 30. So I will contact old4570 to draw 5 unique numbers out of 29. He will post the result in this thread. I also updated the first post of the participation thread with a list of lottery tickets.

So... Sorry if this is taking this thread off topic, but..

I am experienced in buying from overseas vendors as I am in the U.S. and deal with China post on a semi-regular basis (flashlights, etc.). Has anybody received their knives from orders placed with this discount code yet? My order was placed on Feb 29 and it appears as if it has not even left the country yet.

Not exactly worried yet, but this is unusual according to my experiences.

Thanks

Hi cloud,

A order just reached me which I placed around 30 days ago from ED (before the coupon was active)... China Post is very slow on pretty much every seller I ordered from lately ... +65 from Ebay +45 and counting from Dino ... it seems to be a general problem and not necessarily a problem of a single seller. Since Jackyhu is now is also a member on this board now and given the track record of Exduct I am sure everything can be resolved to your satisfaction... but I know how you feel ... waiting sucks... on the other hand I was too cheap to afford the faster shipping options... so I kind of feel partly responsible for my own torture.

Thanks for the rapid reply Vectrex (and sorry for clogging that other thread briefly before I deleted over there and posted here). My recent manafont shipments were a bit delayed, but I chalked that up to HK post. Actually, my China Post shipments have been like clockwork up til now. Of course, now that I said that, I'm sure all the rest of my shipments will be coming via Mars...

I guess I need to exhibit a bit more patience because most of my delay has been from once the USPS gets the shipment...

I wonder when Paypal starts to think I am a customer that can't be trusted with all the cases/claims I filed lately on the 45/65 days limit.... I do not enjoy having to do that... I hope that things normalize pretty soon... might still be the after effects of Chinese new years.

Normally,Post delivery time is around 10-15days to the USA,but during this time,it might be delay because of 2 reason:

1)  China post are more cheap than HK post, suddenly!,too many China vendors ship parcels via China post,Aircraft warehouse become full and no enough,so some parcels will be delay, need take more days.

2) On 10th,March,2012,a new event happened: the boss of "General China Post Office" come to inspection, have to balance the shipping price between different area,"Shanghai post" now has Limit the number of shipping parcels each day,so it might also bring some delay.

I think after some days,China post will restore in stable, the delivery time will come back in 10-15days to U.S. country.

BTW,US buyer,if order more than 2KGS,the DHL express is your best shipping option, cheap than Post, and also faster only 3-5days in delivery.I have sent thousands of folding knives through DHL Express without any problem.

One question... I have seen that 3xSRM 710 (silver) $5.99 plus shipping ( $5.40 via China Post) would be $23.37 total... so one could pay additional $3.37 and get 3 SRMs 710.... is that correct?

How do you want the contacts and our wishes JackyHu? Via PM here or via email (sales@exduct.com). You can verify the addresses/persons via the "old" order numbers I guess? There should be no need to post real names here publicly ...unless someone wants a different shipping address than his previous order ... in that case it would be best the winner would state his real name and "new" shipping address via PM to JackyHu. Is that OK for everybody?

Yes,it's correct,a normal coupon code without discount on shipping price.but i can set this discount coupon in special for winners,so you can pay only $3.37 to get 3pcs 710.

If you all 5 winners agree,I will add a coupon code only: "Winners-1-7-10-12-26"
(this coupon will only used for 5 winners, and only 1 time per winner)

If all winners agree to use a coupon code, then you are no need to PM me the shipping address, simply to place a new order, entry the won coupon code,select/add your "correct shipping address".

To contact me,It's better just PM a message here in this forum,so i'm clear you are the BLF members.

since i'm busy in sometime,if i'm not reply a message more than 3days,or if you are hurry,
then pls just send me email.

Sounds like a good plan...  my user name on Exduct is the same as here on BLF "vectrex".  I assume that the coupon will be bound to the exduct user name to prevent misuse? By the way: I want to thank everybody, who has made this raffle possible. JackyHu for picking up my idea, our members who contributed in text-form/ideas and all the people who supported the raffle and giveaway by using the coupon and of course old4570 for drawing the numbers. I hope that everybody is OK with how things worked out in the end.

For the upcoming raffle 2nd raffle round we could try Jeansy's idea or the idea that Boaz proposed via PM to me.... but I kind of want to do a test run first before putting them into action. Maybe you two can demonstrate the way you think it could work out in a separate thread with a test run and test members? It will be interesting for other raffles too, I guess.

I placed my order 2012-03-04 and today the postman ring Smile 17 days with shipping to Germany is fast. Thank you Jacky for the good transaction.

The SRM939 in black is really nice and it fits well in the Ganzo case for $1.

I place my next order in a few days (I need another SRM763).

Light up the darkness.
