Greetings, the great and mighty BLF community! :bigsmile: Been learning so much interesting fun facts and useful knowledge from this forum - really appreciated! Mainly a AA’s (and some AAA’s) form factor person to-date. In term of energy sources, so far happy with NiMH batteries, but also have been seriously contemplating the expansion to Li-Ion sources! Hypothetical scenario, your thoughts

Lets say one has purchased a new li ion powered device and wants the battery to last as long as possible and hold the most charge say after 3-5 years This device has some draw at all times (say a phone or tablet) Would it be better to charge to 100%, unplug charger, use and recharge when near empty or leave on charger most of the day and remove when remote operation is needed. Leaving on charger means no cycles on the battery (less wear) while plugged in and used when plugged in, but its at 1…

Eneloop XX & JetBeam i4 "Interllicharger" Question/Problem...Help!

Hi, just got some Eneloop XX’s for the first time. When I charge them in the i4 it never shuts off and says they’re full, just keeps flashing 2-3 bars and gets quite warm. The regular Eneloops don’t do this, works perfect. What gives?
