[Complete] WTB FWAA in EU

Hi!

As the title says, I am looking for a FWAA. I know Killzone still sells them, but between shipping from the US and customs they end up quite a bit more expensive than I am willing to spend on a light that still needs rather extensive modding too (boost driver, new MCPCB, LED swap…).

I would prefer it to be mint quality. If it has visual scratches or marks it heavily depends on the price. At least modding hurts less if it already has some marks :wink:

If you happen to know a shop that still sells them inside EU (or with affordable shipping to EU), I’d be happy about that as well.

If it comes with Driver v1.1 you can upgrade the MCU to a T1616 and add RGB Aux:

I’m a sucker for efficiency, so I kinda want a 9V MCPCB and a boost converter… :sweat_smile:

That is good to know for the time being though, so I can get started with lighter modding before going overboard and trying to get my hands on a driver from @thefreeman.

I contacted the shop recommended to me about some details, and the owner told me they also had a single TiCu FWAA left in stock which they forgot to put on the shop. Apparently it was unpacked once for a video, then vacuum sealed and packed up again.

It’s quite a bit more expensive than what I originally wanted to spend, but I’m soon to be the proud owner of a TiCu ^^

Sustained brightness seems a lot lower than for ful alu (zeroair measured both - 600 vs 350lm iirc), but I don’t really need sustained brightness on a EDC anyway. And I hope the new driver will improve things.
