Sound Advice^, as long as you are inside and they are outside you have a chance. Once they are inside though things change drastically and your chances go down VERY fast. Particularly if it is a gang of people.
Plus unless you did something to tick them off and make it personal, most criminals do not want a fight and will move on to another, easier target even if you miss them through the door.

I got one of the prototype SMO reflectors in today. Have not done much with it but I did try swapping it with the OP in the L6.
I have to say that it is impressive, the beam is surprisingly good for an SMO reflector with an XHP70. Compared side by side with the S70 they are basically the same when it comes to the dark spot.
Throw jumped from ~70kcd to around ~84kcd, which is not a bad improvement at all.
For me personally I think with the XHP70 I prefer the OP simply because the XHP70 will never be a thrower no matter what anyone says. The smoother beam of the OP works better as a general purpose light IMHO.
Now with something like an XHP35 or even an XP-L HI, I could see this reflector being very nice indeed. I might rig it up on the bench with said LED’s to see what it looks like at some point.
So overall quite impressive for an SMO reflector for the XHP70. It matches what most lights are able to do with an OP when it comes to the dark spot.
Now we just need it scaled up to ~100-110mm or so for a monster thrower……
I finally ordered on of these the other day from banggood along with 2 of the 69.5mm keeppowers! I told myself that I wasn’t gonna buy another light after this for a while, so let’s see how long I can stay true to that comment! lol

He rags about having to buy 26650 batteries but in the beginning he states he has lights that takes those but doesn’t want to take the batteries out of them. How does he charge those? He really didn’t have to go out and buy batteries or a charger. As a prep guy he doesn’t know you can use 18650 with a 3/4” PVC pipe spacer? He says he only reviews things he really really likes but reviewed the L6 anyway and tried to be critical of it yet still said he really like the light. Brings into question his other reviews.

Does it matter if I order this light from Aliexpress, gearbest or Banggood? Is it the same light in every shop? Or is the updated version in this thread only at Aliexpress?
What updated version? Did I miss something? Are you referring to the clear one?
