This is why Simon should be providing the DUV with pro equipment of the bins he’s selling, not doing so leaves everyone in the dark. Pretty strange thing to not want to go to the effort when he invested so much in the F45R and F150R. It puts me in a difficult position as to what I’m to say in my reviews. Can we expect the majority to have a negative duv, or is it a tint lottery where every purchase will be vastly different?

Or is duv something I shouldn’t really touch on for long range throwers?

Another way to think about it is that if I pick a flashlight at random and give it to twin reviewers to measure Duv using a random instrument, they are quite likely to report that this identical light differs by 3 or more mduv. Possibly more if not identical twins…

My take is that any pair of prosumer Duv measurements, by two reviewers or even the same one, that differ by any less than 3-6 mduv (depending on how sure you want to feel about it) is best to be ignored and pronounced indistinguishable.

Yet another way of slicing it before I lose it.
