GB Interest ///OFFICIALLY CLOSED 11/8 @ 9pm CST/Maxtoch M24 Sniper with XP-L HI /// 250K lux @ 4.3 Amps!!!

Ha ha Dale here come’s the one with Courui 320Kcd, this one is actually shoot across river Drina witch is natural border between Serbia and Bosnia not too far maybe 400 yards but the beam looks amazing

I think you just about hit the nail on the head there. We would be hunting rabbits, foxes and ferals (cats and dogs) but over here in Oz that’s perfectly legal. I will have to see how it goes but the range will be dependent on what area the hunting is taking place in. Shooting pigs out west where there’s nothing and noone for ages would be safe to increase the range substantially.

Nice Courui, anything over 300Kcd is really starting to stretch it out there. Love it!

Cool Teracis, I can see where the smaller game, rabbits and foxes, you’d have to keep it a bit closer for some control, and likewise pigs (hogs) much bigger target and you’ve got some leeway. I’m not a hunter but the majority of my cousins, my brother, they hunt and fish all the time. I used to shoot steel pigs at 130 yds with my Ruger Vaquero with 4 5/8” barrel in .45 Long Colt and iron sights. Satisfying to hear the PING instead of seeing dust, and no crittur to clean afterwards. lol

Just curious, any shooters out there ever try shooting dragon flies? Dang things are skittish! :stuck_out_tongue:

I was hoping to get out shooting last night but it rained :frowning: Again.

Plan was to test the BLF XPL led M24 alondside the dedomed U3 M24. I think the XPL model will do well - very good range. We use the M24 as scope mounted light, but it is just as good as a handheld spottie.

In New Zealand, spotlighting is 100% legal in the right environments, and in the field our tests show the dedomed U3 M24 will pick up big animal bodies (not just eye shine) out to 600 yards in perfect conditions. Normal safe shooting at night here is 0-200 yards.

Hunting is not just about lux output - it is also about right tint. The warmer lemon tint of a dedomed U3 gives better object definition at distance than NW or CW. But the sheer power of the new XPL M24 means it will throw more lux down range so I’m still expecting reasonably good picture at 4-600yds. I will take them both for a walk in the country tonight to do a quick comparison.

I am impressed with this BLF XPL M24. Very good power and still quite good runtime. This is a very good all-purpose outdoors light.

Just fyi, Amanda at MaxToch was kind enough to send out to me a replacement body tube with perfect straight and centered lettering - received it today Smile. I didn't ask for it , but really appreciate MaxToch and robo819's efforts on this. Came all set with O-rings and the cigar grip even.

Picked up a new thermal camera to play with. Thought I’d check out the new flashlight. This is after 10 minutes of run time, standing up on a table.

The table hit 130 degrees, but I didn’t save the picture. Still figuring out how to work this thing.

Glad to see you got it Tom, and that Amanda is willing to help get things right also.

Amanda is always pretty straight up and great to deal with. I’ve bought a few different lights from her direct in the past and it was always easy, got what I wanted (when it was available) and there was no issue.

It’s legal (and necessary) to have a light while hunting racoons which is kind of popular around here. Usual armament is a shotgun or a .22 rifle, former preferred. Just don’t drag your deer rifle, slugs, or buckshot along and the Game Warden will be happy if you cross paths. Any half-decent flashlight will do; you’re just shining up a tree looking for eyeball reflections but that doesn’t mean you can’t use a thrower if you want to.

Kind of exciting- the dogs catch a scent and take off like rockets. You’ve got to keep up as best you can running through the woods in the dark or your high-dollar coon dogs may end up in the next county and in someone else’s home or kennel. You gotta be tough ’cause scrapes, cuts, bruises, and the occasional broken bone is just part of the game. Don’t know what you do with the coon though- they ain’t fit to eat for man or beast and don’t make for much of a trophy mount either!

Phil

Tracking shows 60 more miles, am I the last one to receive the light?

.

I really ‘Like’ this!

Thanks, Phil!

Got mine on Thursday. Great build quality. I’ve only tested it indoors, but it definitely outthrows my two other throwy lights, the Convoy C8 and the Bronte X20.

nope mine it’s still few hundreds km from me.

You are not alone

Got the light yesterday , haven’t had a lot of time to check it out ,my first impression is positive ,would say own par with my 2x as for throw.

Thanks

Can't you use the pencil mod to shorten the time? Seems like it should work like any next mode memory driver, if you find the right capacitor.

Got mine during the weekend. Very nice little light, the weight is just fantastic and the build quality is first class. Power is insane, even if I have not had the chance to test it outside. Robo, I am happy that I joined this deal, and I am sure this is not my last Maxtoch light.

Glad to hear Easyrr. hope you enjoy it for years to come.

Got mine today.
Mega cool torch.

Thank you Robo for all the work.

I wonder, does this M24 version have RPP?

Also, any way to track parcels shipped via estonia post?
