For the exampke pink and warm white, other combinations possible the board with balance resistors could use more than 2 different colors

Thank you for sharing! Lexel, I believe you also mentioned a driver for the Astrolux S42 in your review (that even included a charging circuit). Would it be too much of a bother to add that one to the list? I can understand if you do not want to share it.

I am considering different drivers for an incoming S42 and wanted to have a quick look at it.

the standard 21mm fits the S42 just charging board cant be connected to it
In this mod there I simply shortened the brass bolts and glued the old bottom board on top of the driver, but it took a while and was really hard to make it fit

If you really want to keep charging I will have the S42 special board in my sales topic after it got tested successfully
I can send you the board or assembled driver if you want
.

I already have 3 of them (mt03 mf01 L6) and output is very good.

Ui with ramping so cool.

I got a few of both Q8 side SW boards for other projects.

Tail board without balance resistors tested successfully
Pink and warm white in the 2 I tested

3x3mm Potentiometers will take a while from China

Do you use Leaded Solder or Lead free
I heard that Leaded solder is banned in europe (ROHS) ?

leaded paste, but on the reflow plate it stays a lot longer hot so it is not shiny as with solder iron

I found an error on the 17mm Tail LED board with balance resistors
its fixed now and added 20mm version

20mm TA board checked successful and shared

Great to find them in one place. Can you make some time a FET+1x7135 17mm design that is the same as Q8 but on a 17mm board?
I want to build one for the Sofirn C8F host so it need led pad for the side switch indicator leds like the Q8. Or is there a board available somwhere like what I need?

on the 17mm board Narsil is running fine, the indicator LED output is there, just no extra pad for a SMD resistor dedicated to it

The link was not working for that board but I found it. Which pad I should solder the indicator led?

where R1 and R2 are sharing same pad with pin 7
