Sfn43 led is terrible. Please do not use this led. Sofirn made a big mistake to use it in SP35T.
what is the problem of this LED? easy to burn of color ugly? in our test seems not bad.
FC13 reflector use a 5050 size for LEDs, hmmm what others better
Sofirn tried it in their SP35T, it overheat very fast. For SP35T ATR activation makes the power level unsustainable. It grows dim very fast, plus it is too hot to hold on turbo and even on high. Colour is green but I don’t find a problem with that.
Did your engineer do runtime test for sustained lumens, and heat test? Maybe wurkkos driver is better than sofirns, that would be nice.

Is the button from rubber?
That orange bezel from the reflector side did not pose any problem with the bounced colored light?
It look nice and all, but that kind od thing have to be tested, so that we don't have ugly color hue in the beam.
It's orange, so it wouldn't be bad either way, but still should be tested.
Please be mindful of the parasitic drain of the backlight button.
low should be under 100µA
high should be under 300µA
At least try to get close to that... it's 18650 EDC light
Are either the SFN43 or SST40 available in >80CRI. If not, I would still prefer using an XHP50.3 HI.
I’m not getting anymore SST40 light, There are good lights from sofirn and wurkkos that I have to pass buying because as of right now, chance of getting terribly green SST40 are very high.
thats why they should use sft40 like in fc12.
SST40s tend to be more green at lower output levels, and in the neutral 5000k CCT. I have a Noctigon KR1 6500k SST-40 and the tint is perfectly acceptable.
Yeah, they only look okay on turbo. Hank also usually gets better tint bins.

I love that the button LED acts as an indicator. That’s the one feature I wished my FC11 had. I can’t find it in the dark otherwise. Low moonlight is also a welcome addition.

Any known bugs in that first batch? I don’t want just to order another prototype Wurrkos light with many bugs. And if there is no way to reflash light it not worth to buy it.

Looks great, just ordered mine, BUT… not the dreaded, grabby, pokey, seriously uncomfortable digs-into-your-palm lanyard nub! This design is draconian to say the least and should never again be used in a modern flashlight. Just saying. Please offer a magnet tail and leave it flat on top with the lanyard bore below so there’s no lanyard nub from hell. Just saying. A smooth reflector and a throwy emitter option too, pretty please. Love you Wurkkos.
