That orange bezel from the reflector side did not pose any problem with the bounced colored light?
It look nice and all, but that kind od thing have to be tested, so that we don't have ugly color hue in the beam.
It's orange, so it wouldn't be bad either way, but still should be tested.

Please be mindful of the parasitic drain of the backlight button.
low should be under 100µA
high should be under 300µA
At least try to get close to that... it's 18650 EDC light

OHH, about the drain of the backlight button, i think it may depend on the mode of the button light, it can adjust low-high-flash

Looks great, just ordered mine, BUT… not the dreaded, grabby, pokey, seriously uncomfortable digs-into-your-palm lanyard nub! This design is draconian to say the least and should never again be used in a modern flashlight. Just saying. Please offer a magnet tail and leave it flat on top with the lanyard bore below so there’s no lanyard nub from hell. Just saying. A smooth reflector and a throwy emitter option too, pretty please. Love you Wurkkos.

Well yes, orange bezel look nice, when the light is off.
It's still good that you guys went with orange, just imagine if it was blue, or green.
But well, it's a cold LED, so it's still doesn't look too good.
The other problem with the reflective bezel is that the light now have like 160° wide beam profile, so it's blinding everyone like mule would.
Normally it would have like 90° wide beam profile, with the dark bezel.

But well, you can call it a feature, and just offer black, or orange bezel on the store, for it (it it's logistically viable)
Just have to explain on the website with the pictures, how the beam looks like.
Or just do a small run of black, or colored bezels, as an addon.

Wow, thank you Wurkkos! Had a feeling it might not have the nub. Mainly because the ‘main pictures’ did not reveal the lanyard design, only in the small sub-pictures of the add. So all good. You didn’t say which style it has but I’ll find out soon enough because my order went out in a blur!

The design that is used on your TS25 is the type I was speaking of in the prior post. This seems to be a simple variation of the irksome nub design. It’s widely used anyway and should replace the nub as the default standard. Imo. Comparatively, it has a sleeker look and a much better FEEL. Think I’ll order another one for your kind reply. Love you now even more Wurkkos.

Well, I won't buy the FC13 because of the LED, so no problem for me.
I just warned you earlier, as I saw this flaw already in the prototype stage.
To be honest, it would be better, to have some picture of it directly on white wall, on different levels, and different distances (and the FC13 should be the only light source) to see how it looks.
I think the blinding 160° wide beam profile will be more annoying, for the users, then the color hue.

But I would post some pictures, with the HUE, just so people do know it's there before purchase.
If they know, then it's a feature :D

If you could get your hands on one prototype black bezel, just to show the white wall pictures, then we could compare the two, and say something constructive.
In my opinion, the LED model will still hurts this flashlight more, then the color bezel.

What? You mean it does have the palm-gouger lanyard nub, the bane of all tailcaps? Aaaaarrrgh! Nobody likes a complainer, but jeez, this FC13 and it’s world-beater side RGB switch is a real eye-catcher… until your gaze falls on the fugly nub jutting off the back end of your masterpiece. :person_facepalming:

Will you offer sft40 as a choice?. john mcpoyle posted an emitter swap on your FB page of his switching to sft40. The beamshot looks very, very nice. It looks perfect.

I understand why wurkkos decided to choose sfn43 in the concept of fc13. However I still think its a mistake of a choice.
