Noctigon Meteor M43 BLF Discount Buy - $50+ Discount! - MTN & Intl-Outdoor

Good points, more throw is always what we are aiming at, and as small as possible body is also the first consideration.

The XHP70 will give weak throw, if you want more throw, you will need to make a super big reflector, I assume you
do not want to carry a dumb bell around when you just want to use a flashlight right. :stuck_out_tongue:
So, yes, this new project will use 9*XHP35 Hi, still with optics, thus to make the body as small as possible, with decent throw and flood.

I hope the light can be sold before the end of this year.

Niceā€¦ Any price indication? I assume itā€™s going to be more expensive than the Meteor. But how much? About 50% more expensiveā€¦.more or less? Iā€™m really excited this is happening!

Hank, are you going to be discontinuing the Noctigon Meteor now? This new one youā€™re bringing out is quite different, they could both remain alongside each other.

I hope Christmas comes early this year, I know what I want.

Please tell me that there will be a high CRI version?
(According to Cree there is a 90+ CRI version of XHP35.)

Was your intl outdoor order already shipped?

Mine is not shipped and their site says out of stock. I guess they will ship them in the next few days.

out of curiosity I asked Hank about ā€˜build timeā€™ and he mentioned 1 week.

I ordered one from Mountain last Thursday morning and tracking says I get it tomorrow (Mon.) Christmas in September!

Mine is in Tampa and scheduled to be here tomorrow!

i upgraded my white M43 to 219C Richard sold me months ago

now its a great tinted light :)

(S2 DD was a frog...)

canĀ“t wait to launch the supernova

If I want already a loyal customer I would be now

So how do you guys like your new Meteor?

i like my refurbished M43 :D

Yeah, I wanted to ask you something. You went from dedome XP-G2 to 219C right? I saw beamshots and the dedomeā€™s version had indeed more throw, but the beam profile seemed really funky with weird artifacts. How do you compare beamprofile? Yeah I like my 219C as well  Thanks!

After 5 years here I finally got a nice light :stuck_out_tongue: Nichia 219C 70+ ; LG ICR 18650 HE4

thanks Mountain!

really exciting video

The tormenting waiting for the lights to stop blinking (in the charger)ā€¦

yea, you understand! The cells were at 3.6V so it will be a while ā€¦ a long while.

3.6 Volts? I am so sorry for you. I feel your pain. Things only get worse. Four cell charging in VP4 (my charger)ā€¦ not 1A, but 0.5Aā€¦. Ugh. Charging takes so much timeā€¦ How much has the cell self discharged in the time it was charging?
But the waiting will be rewarded. Inserting the cells one at a time, and tightening that battery tubeā€¦ā€¦ Thatā€¦ Isā€¦. Sooooā€¦ā€¦ Sweet!

Was it difficult to reflow the leds? What was your process?

The i4 is only 0.375A per channel with 4 in there...extra slow. The i4 was my first charger and it feels like it takes an eternity to charge up 4x 3000+ mAh batteries.

Seems like someone should offer a SkyRC MC3000 / Meteor M43 bundle. :face_with_monocle:
