But as i said before it didnt work with Opple Smart Light app either.
I cant register. If i can, it think it will work. But can i make a user account from somewhere else ? Maybe if i register account from my pc and login directly from my phone app, it will work, i dont know
I just registered a new account using the OPPLE Smart Lighting app:

A pop up appears and asks for your country.
Tap Send again.
Check email and copy/paste the code.
Enter a 15 character password twice.
Tap done.
Is it possible to try a different internet connection to register? Maybe your provider is blocking certain websites or the website was down.
It doesn’t like VPN’s. I had to disable my VPN’d wifi and go with mobile data to get mine registered the first time. (It was quicker than disabling teh VPN on my router.)
just now learned there are 2 apps for domestic user, and what we use and update frequently is called “欧享家”. and you guys are using OPPLE Smart Lighting app, and “欧享家”'s updates are not synchronised to OPPLE Smart Lighting app yet.
Can you provide a Google Play Store link to that one? I am very confused, and using the wrong one I think.
steve, are you using, some compensation for IR part?
I try to check LM with IR filter.

As you can see IR part matter.

Problem is kind of solved but not for me
Today we tried with my colleagues and it worked !!! Only my phone doesnt work i dont understand. One of them has Iphone and other one has Xiaomi. Both them worked easily. Mine is Samsung. I have no idea why i cant connect.
Also with their phone they created an account for me and i tried to login with my phone, still didnt work. I cant login.
My phone also newer, A54 5g, came out this year.
Well there is your problem Snark aside, its pretty common for Android devs to heap on Samsung for having the most issues and bugs. Since they are also very popular devices it is quite a burden.
That said … since they are popular devices Opple should be testing on them.
Samsung’s market share drops to nearly 0% here in China since Galaxy Note 7’s battery explosion incident. I never see people around me use Samsung phones these years.
Samsung left the China market, ceding it to OPPO, Xiaomi, etc. They made some missteps and I don’t think they will re-enter it …
But worldwide, Samsung is the #1 brand (19.7% share), with Apple behind it at 17.7% Q3, 2023, Statistica.
I’m not sure if the Opple LM is mostly exclusive to the Chinese market. if its intended for global distribution it would be disastrous to exclude Samsung devices from testing.
