Please keep it simple. Just the basics. Less is More. A logo is like a tattoo, easy to set, difficult to remove.
We are by far a community of well-informed people. When we see a light like this, we know what we’re dealing with.
Keep logo’s to a minimum, and reserve one flat surface on the tube for those who want to add some personal touch.
I guess every town has some shop were they are glad to oblige you.

It’s like a car. You don’t Armytek that either.
People who drive clunkers often plaster their entire boot with decals, to impress the neigbours.
People with really, really fast cars don’t. They leave it at the licence plates and some indication of who built it.

Could someone test the proto 2 and let us know far can the light reach (2100 m ? 2300m ? Or better ).
How good ir is compared to Acebeam X65, Thrunite TN42, etc in different distances like 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m, etc.

Recap: because very few people want logo’s on the tube, someone might decide that there will be no flat surfaces on the side. So I suggested one flat surface on the side, to fill in by the owner(s). Where did you read about the other 3 sides?

I like this personally. Although it would most likely be printed on the area below the switch is I think what we are planning on now as we have no way to line up the head to make sure it looks ok. By placing it below the switch it will always be lined up with the switch.

A GT in that font that was used on the DEL driver at one point with lumintop (only fair to print the lumintop name on the light somewhere, they are doing this, for this price mainly for advertising) for the tailcap would round it out well. Then just the CE, rohs ect to figure out.

Yep great idea T/A! :+1: Can’t stand it when the branding is off center when it is on the head or bezel!!! Have Lumintop’s brand at the opposite side of the switch, maybe if there is enough room?

A big Lumintop Bunny would look cool on the back of the tail cap too maybe? It will get seen, not like your going to tail stand this beast often!

I like this design from Jerommel. Under the switch (per Texas Ace) sounds fine.

I think the bow under the bunny doesn’t fit.

Can you remove it and make a full circle?

Left and right wings are of different lengths. Can you make a version with equal wings and text centered?

Maybe the GT character should stretched broader?

Updated versions, font as in Q8 logo, some improvements…

2 versions, one with larger bunny symbol.
Q8 logo (version E) for comparison.

These are moving in the right direction IMO. I think I prefer the 1st design with the smaller circle myself.

I really like this font style for the GT (although not a big fan of the corner being cut off the G):

Does anyone know what font that is? If so I could try my hand in illustrator. Or another cool looking font. Doesn’t have to be some wacky font but something other then a basic GT I think would fit this light better, it is not just a basic light afterall lol.

The larger logo would work for the tailcap, although I wounder if it would work better with

1 x Lumintop,
1 x Lumintop’s logo,

in any configuration around the head/tailcap would be great.

There will be printing on the tailcap no matter what as we need the CE and rohs logos printed there apparently. I would prefer a logo there to kind of hide them vs them all alone.

Also there is not enough room below the switch for everything anyways. At least not with it being readable and looking balanced.

I knew there was a reason I liked it so much lol. I feel a bit ashamed that I am that out of the loop in just a few years but I have been purposely keeping my nose out of the car world for several years because anytime I stick my nose back in it, I seem to end up with a 1000hp money pit that I can’t afford right now lol.

I believe he means production lights, Enderman. I don’t think you can actually buy anything I would consider a flashlight that has more throw than the lance of ra.

Well first of all, there are short arc production flashlights like the maxabeam which have much farther throw, so he should have specified LED.
Second, yes it is the farthest throwing production LED light, which is advertised on the STO website, so he should have specified “production”

Hi… I don’t see anything wrong with my video or the claim. Can you go and buy a 2.5 million candela light anywhere? Actually someone pointed out one in a comment a few months ago… but it’s a big military light. Your light is awesome… I’ve been a member here a long time… and in no way is my video or claim deceptive. In no way can I account for every single modded light ever built, but I bring that up. I am eagerly awaiting the GT release and plan on reviewing it. I am a super nice guy, who in no way lies or misleads viewers. I learned a lot of stuff here, and many people here helped me to make my reviews some of the most compr hens I’ve on YouTube. If you have any further notes or comments I can talk via a PM.
