I consider temperature regulation a good feature to have, its not necessary but it can save your butt and also keeps batteries from getting baked which is also good for their longevity.
If the OP wants it then they can buy a flashlight with it, if not then thats fine too.

I personally do not consider if a light has temperature regulation at all when buying. It means that little “to me”.

As far as what the OP gets, that is of course up to him. He has two opposing opinions to choose from if he wishes to do so. :smiley:

Lets say i order the ones suggested in this thread, but in the future i want to have that Temperature Regulator, in my flashlights, so can you provide with any alternatives something that is in my price range and is either 18650 or AA or even AAA?

I have noticed from experience the S2 will overheat quickly, on my first gen XM-L it would heat up much quicker then the first gen M1 since it had a much smaller head. So its good that you can get a temp regulated S2.
