I only have the JunkYard Dog II, not the pretty, composite one with D2!!
Sp5it,
I have one that kind of looks like that but I don’t recall what it’s called. I don’t much keep track of names. I would post pictures but none of my knives are very pretty. They’re all just tools to me. The last day of each hunt we boil up a pot of water and throw in all the knives. Not how I would treat them if I were a collector.
Here's all twenty different Kershaw knives that I have owned:
(None of the photos are mine.)
The leftmost photo is the first Kershaw I bought, and as you move further to the right, you'll see the next I bought, followed by the next, etc.
Which is your favorite Kershaw RC if you had to choose one?
my second Kershaw, scallion.
Probably this Kershaw Link (1776GRYBW):

Looks like KAI is chopping a lot of their Kershaw and Zero Tolerance models.
Good thing I have the ZT062CF and ZT0801!!!
I hate to see what the aftermarket price will be for these models.
Here is the link:
I’m surprised about the Shallot and the ZT0801. I thought they were more popular.
Heh, maybe I’ll hold off selling my duplicate 801.
Also Ken, I recently got a 620CF…. I LOVES IT! I watched a video a while back that stated “an Emerson, done better than Emerson. While I like my Emersons, they feel very tool like (which I love about them) but the ZT is so much more refined.
Just got back from kershaw warranty work my kershaw mini cyclone with ZDP189 blade and titanium handles. That thing is razor sharp, back into my pocket for edc.

Someone know a good site for buy kershaw in European Union?
I agree J57, love my ZT0620CF too.
The Kershaw Camber looks interesting with S30V.
I am surprised that the Blur is not on the chopping block. It has been in production for a long time.
Kershaw shield
Trevi, in the UK (where i got mine)
If your struggling PM me and can sort it , can always get one and ship it to you if they will not
Off-topic: Anyone have a Cathode?
Sorry to sidetrack this thread, but I got a Cathode a couple of weeks ago. It’s a small knife, but pretty sturdy. However, the “assist” seems to be stiff or weak, as often, it’ll only open about 2/3 of the way. Also, it seems to get smoother/looser and open all the way after a few times, but, later, it’ll be sticky/stiff again.
I was wondering if anyone else has one of these and if theirs is the same way?
Thanks,
Jim
Answering my own question: I used a small Torx screwdriver and then loosened and then re-tightened the pivot screw, and it opens super well now.
My only Kershaw to date.
Massdrop-exclusive blackwashed S30V
Don’t really get much EDC time as not too fond of the AO.
Considering I’ve already sold my ZT0562CF, ZT0900 and also XM-18, not sure how long this will stay with me
Kershaw Strobe
This is my favorite even though I don’t like the clip.
It’s based on the fixed blade Diskin Hunter design. I love that it’s a very deep-carry clip but it’s too pointy at the end and snags in furniture on a regular basis and because of this it’s been bent and re-bent several times. That is my only real complaint. Well, now that I’m thinking about it I don’t like the scales much. They should be G10 but instead they used “Zytel” with a “K-texture” which is basically slippery plastic.
My dislike of the scales led to my removing the side opposite the clip where I found under the scales it is stonewashed and skeletonized with nice chamferred holes. I found that I really like the look so I’ve never put the one scale back on.
The opening thanks to a KVT ball-bearing system is crazy smooth and IMO even better than the Speed-Safe assisted opening.
This is a very underrated knife for some reason.
Edit: With everyone else posting such big pictures I decided to bump mine up too. It shows the stonewashed finish better and the nicely machined details in the skeletonized frame. I was also very happy when I found that underneath the scales it was stonewashed just like the blade. :+1:
I very much prefer the manual opening KVT ball bearing system employed by ZT and Kershaw over their AO.
Nice mods! :+1:
What sort of wood did you use for that Kershaw/Emerson collaboration?
