(random post in the name of SB) Just wanted to make sure our generous benefactor had a spot here, in case he missed it. :wink:

In answer to question about stock UI, it’s Lo-Med-Hi-Strobe-SOS or beacon, dont recall on the last one as I usually bypass those pdq.

Stock driver is proprietary, not using an 105c style, nice compact driver and is well done, just underdriven. Would make a nice driver for a small light especially with the blinkies shorted out if one knew how to do that.

I sent an inquiry to SupFire in question of possible interest in a group buy. These days the shipping is the biggest issue, as we’ve discovered in group buy’s before the manufacturer doesn’t seem to have the same kind of shipping incentives as the retailers and can’t offer free shipping with subsidization. So even a very low price on the light itself will have to be affected by the shipping cost to get them out to us.

Should I start a new interest thread to find out how many lights they might be selling? Some BLF incentive, as it were? I can say this, even with the shipping this is one of the nicest lights I’ve bought for the money, and coming close to the top in regard to ANY light I have bought!

The MAXToch SN6X-2X might be the nicest built light I have seen to date. Finish wise it is up there anyway. This F9 is unblemished, the anodize is flawless but like we’ve seen with others that mass produce there is an ever so slight difference in shade between the head, tube, and tail. Takes a lot of light looking at it for this to show up, would never see it normally. I did a pretty intense inspection with a Triple Nichia 219 Hi CRI light at 500 OTF lumens to see the slight difference…the tailcap and head match, the tube is slightly lighter in color. Again, though, it’s difficult to find. Top notch reflector, robust thick 6063-T6 construction according to SupFire makes this light a very tough daily user kind of light.

Might be nice to have a Group Buy on this light for sure.
Time of year might be bad for some people AKA Might only be able to afford 1 light not the 6 they think they need to do mods on………………….
