WildTrail WT90 - SBT90.2 1800m+ throw 90mm 3x 21700 With Texas_Ace driver

I am taking mine on holiday to Callantsoog, looks like we’re heading out to eachother

Photo below is same as photo above but is zoomed in a bit.

Thanks Cochise for sharing these nice beamshots in the woods. No wild life encountered just yet? Since you can go on holiday, I guess you are not adversely affected by the recent serious floods in your country.

What are the 21700 batteries which you are using to produce such nice beamshots?

Thanks.I am in USA now and most of the year.My Germany trip has been delayed.

I am using Molicel P42A.

There is Plenty of wildlife.Just not in these photos. .Fox,Coyote,Rabbits,Raccoon,Deer,Beaver,Bats,Eagles,Opossum and much more. :sunglasses:

Cochise334ever - not sure if I missed it - did the stripped carrier solve the problem, reduce the parasitic drain you measured before?

I received my WT90 on thursday. Here is a Beamshot comparison with some other new arrivals and my favourite Manker MK37. Distance to the small house is ~ 650 Yards

Find all of my new Beamshots on TLF

:+1:  :sunglasses:

Guten tag.

I did not do my 10 day Simple test to see if there was cumulative , noticeble voltage drop.

I did check voltage after charging , then leaving in carrier over night. It did not lose anything.

I believe it is better and parasitic drain is gone. However, I will not let it sit 10 days again to compare to my carrier that is NOW OUT FOR DELIVERY (!) :sunglasses: to you.

I do not have the equipment or the knowledge to do the test that you and others can do where you can determine voltage loss almost immediately.

Thanks again for the swap. :+1:

Down the road, probably late fall, better Atmospheric conditions , I will do comparisons to K1,NI40, TN42vn 90 CFT NW and maybe a few others.

:+1: Moin und viele Grüße aus Rheinhessen

Here was my Simple test on July 9th, Page 34, post #1004.

For those who do not know. This was with OLD Carrier with LED Actively ON and on USB end, which was at leat part of cause for parasitic drain.

I am American with Family in Germany.I know about 50 German words! My next door neighbor was born in Germany…Bad Nuheim, not sure if I spelled it right.

She is my translator!

I presume you mean Bad Nauheim near Frankfurt. Nice city. Only ~1hour by car away from my village.

Texas_Ace, Ali Express now has the Silver WT90 on sale, at about US$273 including shipping. But the original code for our GB (WT9099) is NOT working now.

Truth be known, my dad was born in Germany, all 4 grandparents born in Germany and emigrated to the US, and I took 5 years of German through high school. Can I speak German? Well, 50 words is a stretch... My family has a history of tradesmen, guess you call it - dad was a auto-mechanic (city cab company), his 2 brothers operated printing presses, dad's best friend (we call Uncle) a carpenter, dad's father had a house painting biz in Manhattan.

Ok, sounds about right. He is supposed to official have it for sale tomorrow is what I was told.

I will get the new code and update the OP and thread.

Yes…that is it.

I am Half German.Family from Kindenheim…about 70KM( A guess) SW of Frankfurt .About 10/15 KM West of Worms. :sunglasses:

I will do the exact same test that I did with my old carrier for 3 or 4 days. That will be sufficient enough to see if there is a noticeable voltage drop. Just like the original test I checked the voltage after 12 hours of rest.

The Voltages after 12 hours rest is 4.21V for ALL 3 P42A.

I will check once a day for the next 3 or 4 days at the same time because I have OCD.

My guess is it will be the same three or four days from now…0.01V drop at the most.

Don‘t worry about it. If you ever visit germany you will only need „ Guten Tag, sprechen Sie englisch?“ If the answer is „Nein“ ask the next one. It‘s very common in germany to speak english as second language. So it should not be any problem.
