Leader in high-end USB meter! Truly instrument-level accuracy!
!! Safety warning !! This type of tester has multiple input and output ports. All interfaces are connected in parallel. Only one input and one output are allowed to be connected at the same time. Some model testers support high-voltage fast charging. When the high voltage is triggered, there will be high voltage on the input and output ports. Do not connect any equipment with insufficient voltage resistance. Please confirm that the voltage is correct and then access the equipment. This will result in problems including but not limited to burning mobile phones, burning equipment, burning adapters, etc. This shop does not bear any responsibility!

Hey. Oh so the new model could convert QC type c to PD? nice . Anyway on zy1276 . I have some questions. So I’m trying to use my load dummy. This one needs usb power to run. So. Could I just connect it to the meter while I use the output too for draining? Will the meter reads both outputs usage? So basically. Type c input to ZY1276. Then on output I use both usb a and type c. Say the type a uses 1A and the type c uses 1A. Will the meter reads it correctly? So it shows 2A? Thanks…
also… eh, when upgrading . the instruction says to check the factory reset on program while flashing. does it resets calibration? and if didnt check the reset on while flashing, does it keep the calibration?? i cant calibrate it since i dont have accurate meters / source etc

I’m not sure if using both outputs at the same type USB-A and USB-type-C will work properly.. maybe you could tell us what happen when you did it (use a smaller current when testing, if you can configure it)

In my case, the voltage readings of my ZY1276 didn’t seem to change (or if it did, it was too small that I hadn’t noticed it) before and after I upgraded its firmware.

Guys I have great news. So my ZY1276 just came in the mail. After trying it. I was so confused of the firmware version. Its already on 3.36D . And it appears that I have the new ZY1276P version (I know cuz when it shows the model number when you holding button bfore going to configuration mode) okay. So basically. I should be able to check emarker without PD adapter. No documentation yet. So idk. I’m waiting for my type c cables. Also. I’ve found a closed beta firmware . 3.36E (newer than stable) it removed some Chinese text. And vooc check . For beta testing QC to PD 2!! (He said the memory isn’t enough for new features so he needs to remove some to get some) . Haven’t tried it yet tho. He said something too about not using it with emarked type c cable. Anyway here’s the fw if you wanna test it. ZY1276 only!! I’ve flashed it successfully.

You’re right, i meant the voltage setting in the STM32 programmer software.
I do have the pogo pins, but can’t connect the ZY1273 to flash the firmware 3.1 on it.

YZX usb meter is very good, but the price is too higher …
but RD (ruideng meter ) is cheaper and have more function.
for “UM24C” and “UM25C”: , it can support PC software and android APP, APP can support 21 kinds languages and APP and PC software can export data by excel. it is easy to research the data…
but YZX meter did not have ,
For UM34C, it support USB 3.0 and Quick charge recognition mode:QC2.0、QC3.0、APPLE 2.4A/2.1A/ 1A/0.5A、Android DCP、SAMSUNG, support support OPPO phone VOOC, OnePlus DASH
Though UM34C and UM25C have Type-c port , but there is not trigger, only support type-c charge, not recognition
although for data or some function, it is not better than YZX meter, but for the price , it is already best …
for USB load, there are many choice , LD25/LD35
If someone need more cheaper meter, but colorful display, there is also choice AT34
That makes sense I suppose. It would allow you to continue a test later or go straight on to a fresh test and record previous data at a later time. I thought it might have been something more significant I was missing.
I have just bought a ZY1276 from Amazon which appears to have recent firmware. I tried AutoDetect on a new Samsung Galaxy S9 charger expecting the Samsung-AFC 9V protocol go green, but it indicates as red which is not available. It is a genuine Samsung charger and has 9V indicated on it. Has anyone else come across this.

Are you using a high quality cable? Is your phone mostly charged?
I am just plugging the ZY1276 direct into the charger, no cable of phone involved. As I understand it the ZY1276 should list the chargers capabilities with Auto Detect.
The new ZY1280 appears to be the upgrade from the ZY1276 / ZY1276P. The ZY1278 appears to just be the USB-C (only) version of the ZY1276.

Any news about the ZY1280 ?
Anyone able to update the ZY1273?
I even can’t change the voltage from 4.0 to 1.8V.
What do you mean sir by changing voltage from 4.0 to 1.8v?
Do you mean calibrating the voltage of the ZY1273 from the Settings menu?
If the ZY1273 uses the same firmware flashing method as the ZY1276, then it needs the STM32 programmer device and proper cable/pogo pins to update.

Here’s a list with current RD USB meters:
https://rdtech.de.aliexpress.com/store/923042/search?SearchText=usb&orig...
If that’s the one it’s quite cheap, probably much lower quality than YZXstudio?
AFAIK all RD products are good quality. Maybe not better than YZXStudio but probably with slightly better price/quality ratio.
Not lower quality, but just not as many functions.
The quick charge mode identifier is a little less 'smart', and some other functions just aren't there such as PD trigger etc...

Probably a very basic question, but it has me puzzled. Most of the USB power meters I have or have seen have Groups. What are their purpose.
You don’t have to reset the mAh/Wh measurements when doing several tests in a row. Just switch the group and retain the old data.
That makes sense I suppose. It would allow you to continue a test later or go straight on to a fresh test and record previous data at a later time. I thought it might have been something more significant I was missing.
