Both this one and the Mateminco MT70 SFN55.2 have run out after a very short period of time. Yet, it would appear that there is no sufficient interest, at least in the SFT40 version, since there are only 10 names in the interested list – I have no clue for the SFN55.2 version.

Hi freeme, have you been able to get any update on when the first batch will be shipping out?

I have this info on my orders page:
“Estimated to ship before September 24, 2021. Sorry for not being able to ship on time, your package is already in processing, and will be shipped to you as soon as possible.”

The manufacturer Mateminco don’t have the SFT40 emitter available to them. And they don’t have information on when they can expect it either.

i finally got my (homemade) FT03 sft40 dialed in, THIS LIGHT IS WORTH HAVING!

I am sure Astrolux can get the reflector tuned well, and this thing has become one of my most used (non EDC) lights. it is VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Standing by for this one too.

Will it be available again soon or should we be considering another brand?

Seems to be limited stock of the SFT-40 LEDs, they have been popular.

I’d be in if they ever get the SFT-40 back in stock.

If you are in hurry, you might want to consider Convoy L21B and M21C.

Thanks, I have been considering the L21B, but the truth is, I am in no hurry.

Less throw the reflector is smaller and you miss out on the side switch and charger.

The way I look at it, slightly larger reflector = more throw, on-board charging, glowing switch and Narsil in favor of the FT03. Lighter, slightly smaller and with 8-amp buck driver (around 900 lumens after stepdown) for the Convoy.

Hi,
Would the ASTROLUX FT03 with LUMINUS SFT40 inside be comparable with the Acebeam K70 in regards of throw?
Thanks
K.

See here: https://budgetlightforum.com/comment/1787889#comment-1787889, 430 kcd, rated at 400 kcd. K70 rated at 422 kcd, but don't know what it really does.
