That is a great price you have on the below XML2 T4 5A1’s. Do you know what their CRI rating is?

Typical CRI for neutral white is 75
T4 bin and “5” tint are available in 80+ CRI, but those are 75 CRI typical.
You can see it by checking the order code. These are not top bin/CRI for that type of emitter, but for the price, you cant complain. Its kinda like buying XM-L2 T6, while U2 is out.
For a “5” tint , you should be able to either get a T5 BIN with same CRI (75), or 80+ CRI in T4.
Basically, when looking at XM-L2s all CW emitters are 65 typical.
NW, are 75 CRI typical by default (there are only a few in the lower 4000-4200K that are available in 80+ CRI, which are “5” tints”.
WW, are 80 CRI typical by default, but many of them are slightly higher (80), and some even 85+/90.
If the Cree order code/bin code have an “H” instead of “L”, its 80+ CRI.
Thanks Simon and R86. I couldn’t resist the price and ordered 5 anyway. Should be a great tint. Maybe I will be lucky and the cri will be close to 80. Either way, I’ll be happy.
